  • You need a hotshoe adapter to make the Sigma EF-530 Super fire with Flash Wave III. Set the flash to its proper slave mode (not manual), connect the hotshoe adapter to the flash unit, and connect the Flash Wave receiver to the hotshoe adapter with a cable. Fires perfectly.

  • do not push the test button...it makes it freeze when your using triggers. If you do not press the button the flash will not freeze.

  • you must cover the ettl pins on youre flash to make it work---use center pin only

  • Sadly, Flashwaves III are not compatible with Sigma and Nissin flashes
