My Master has left one month after his birthday (she played at that time for his Birthday) his Body. To play for Maharishi is for every Artist a great blessing & hounors their state of Art!
There is a big difference between these today playing Indian Artists & the Maharishi Gandharva Veda Musicians:
1.) They are one of the best Artists from Vedic India.
2.) They are playing only Ragas which are fitting to the Time value & curcumstances.
3.) They stand under the guidance of a great Saint (our Jagad-Guru Maharishi, who was the first Saint in India whoe received a State funeral)!& are produces the effect of World-Peace!
This is raga 'Yaman' not 'Yamun', with Gandhar and Nishad as principal notes. Yaman is derived from Thaat (parent) 'Kalyan', which uses Tivra Madhayam, while rest of the notes are 'shudhha' What is artist's name? Who is her Guru?
