@vgeorom so I partitioned my micro sdhc card but I want to erase the partition I did to it and return my micro sdhc card back to I guess you would say "stock" as if I bought it brand new out the box. Any suggestions?
I would just like to ask, how did you get your computer to look like that? Ive got a acer predator, your going to have to give me some links on how to do it man!!
i have little problem...everything is great i follow everything in the video and it's works fine but in android when i check my storage all SD card is Unavailable and only thing is Erase everything and i m afraid if i do that then i wont have Memory in WP7 .. i have 16 GB card an formatted as said in video i have 7GB and some MB for WP7 and it's unformatted and logical... and for AN i have FAT32 /32kb cluster and primary... but still no SD card for android any help will be appreciated thanks
Wow, it actually worked like a charm! Thanks alllot, tried other methods as well but without succes. However, with my particular android rom it says "storage almost full" when it boots (I use a 8Gb card, and a I resized it just like in your video).
Thank you sir. Thought I had it most figured out, but this definantly clarifies it all. And to all those with TMobile phones, if you for some reason decide to flash back to WM6.5, MAKE SURE to get the American rom, for LEO 1024 or you will brick! Just a word of advice :)
I have just got two questions as I don't have and HD2 yet and I can't try it myself. Do you have to change the boot prior anytime you want to boot android or wp7??? Does Android works as fas and smooth as if on Nand???
whenever i open up the partition wizard and see my sd card there is no unformatted partition or a fat16. they both just say "other" on them. one is 200 mb and the other is 14.74 gb. i have a 16 gb card. any ideas on what is wrong? i have no idea what to do...
The new version of this program makes it hard to follow this.. At the point where i put the card in the reader to place android on it, my computer doesnt recognize it
it worked flawlessly thanks for this video but i got a problem once im in the Android build the SD card isnt recognized meaning everyother function of android works besides the SD card being read if i go to take a picture it wont let me saying theres no SD card any fixes?
Turn off your phone press down volume button and press once power button and then release the volume button. You will see a screen with 3 colors connect your USB cable and when you see on the bottom USB word, flash with any WM 6.5 ROM you like. Done.
I got everything to work, except that when I try to boot up into ANDROID, it stays at the unlock screen and says NO SERVICE. I'm running MDJ's HD Desire 4.6. I let it sit on that screen for nearly 30 minutes and it never let me go past the screen.
That is the lock screen. Did you slide down or on sides because not all the screens are the same. Or the touch screen is not responsive on your phone. Try with different ROM.
@vgeorom Ive tried different ROMS and my touchscreen is still unresponsive after I try booting into Android. it always stops at the UNLOCK screen and says NO SERVICE. :/
I noticed that when you created the partition at 1:14 you put the size and position at about half way. Is that necessary for a 16gb card or can I go lower?
You can alloyed how much space you want is no limit for that but make sure the partition for Android is on the front of the card and for WP7 at the end.
@SultanTSK Now i just repartitioned the unpartitioned (third partition) so i could merge fat and the middle by deleting. Now wm7 sees 15 mb total :S and i cant boot into android, ''SP KERNAL OPEN FAILED''
my computer reboots everytime i am going to make the 32kb cluster.. if u use 4 kb cluster will that be a problem? all the android builds i used so far freeze, do u think it is the cluster
@vgeorom i let it stay on the unlock screen for and additional 10 minutes and nothing change.. the time remains the same and no service.. i am using the MDJ desire 4.6
You have to unlock your WP7 to be able to install apps or call MC to give you a unlock key.
Some people are afraid to call them because it is on HD2 but so far I unlocked 2 phones with the code from MC you have to give them the info they want but make sure you tell them is an HD7
ok i did everything just like the video, the wp7 reads my card with the right amount of storage i partitioned for it but my android doesn't. It shows that its unavailable, i used the HD2 Gingerbread/CyanogenMod7 from copenhagen n its a 16gb samsung card. any idea what am doing wrong
ok guys it does take long as heck but it did finally boot android i also plugged in the usb and it gave an audible tone from the computer before it moved passed the green htc logo. Finally it boot up. Hd2 dual boot wp7 and android no better phone out there!
yup i was impatient. it did seam to help when i plugged in the usb it gave me an audible tone then booted after that the tone gave me reassurance but yeah hd2 dual boot is freakin awesome.
thanks for the video man... i really did not want to go through the two sd card steps.. i am working with a 16gb card hope everything works for me... i have question when u reset the wp7 did u hold on to power to boot into magldr? it sounds stupid but i just want to makesure
easiest method yet but mine gets stuck at the green htc screen after booting android at the very end of the tutorial. Got any suggestions or ideas? I followed the video perfectly but it just wont go past green htc.
thanks a bunch, got WP7 & MIUI running smoothly :D

21. Reset your phone and enter Magldr 1.1.2.
22. To boot into wp7 select boot “1. Boot WPH” or to boot sd android select “2. Boot SD AD”

15. Click the “green phone button” to confirm.
16. Once you’ve done steps 12 to 15 you will be brought back to the initial magldr 1.1.2 menu.
17. Again, use volume down to go to “9. Services” and click “green phone button” to select.
18. Use volume buttons to select “1. Bootsettings” and click “green phone button” to select.
19. Use volume buttons to select “3. AD SD Dir” and click “green phone button” to select.
20. Select the folder where your sd android build is located.
hohiah 1 year ago
Here are the instructions at 7:00, which can't really see on the video.
11. Reboot the phone and hold the “red end key” to enter the magldr boot menu.
12. In Magldr 1.1.2 use volume down to go to “9. Services” and click “green phone button” to select.
13. Use volume buttons to select “1. Bootsettings” and click “green phone button” to select.
14. Use volume buttons to select “2. Always Menu” and click “green phone button” to select.

@vtokun
I put in the description a link to a tool called Partition Wizard Home Edition 5.2
use that tool to convert the logical partition in Primary then Android will recognize your card .
Don't worried will not affect your partition or your WP7 everything will be the same except your Android will see the card.
