I dunno... its true that he could've stayed with a mid-table club in the EPL, but there he was average, or above average - in the MLS he is a superstar, with his 'designated player' spot to prove it. He's scored 19 goals in 24 games, and is settling in well; I think he made the right choice for himself. America isn't that bad a place to live, right?

yeah, it was a cup qualifier. not even an mls games. the us open cup isn't exactly the most prestigious competition around, though it is the oldest. Not many people take it too seriously here, unfortunately. Nothing compared to the League or FA cups in England. They aren't even televised.
