  • Man that lady makes Dame Edna look like a dude! ;)

  • i wonder what they mean

  • Good show. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the lighting in the back. There were big black spots and dim where ever there is light. Other than that, really good.

  • Konga! :D

  • Meanwhile at Leeroy's house...

  • @fang764 He DOES look good in a dress doesn't he? ;D

  • This made queers looks so sterotypical and stupid.

  • @slees2100 that's what makes it funny, lrn2humor

  • @slees2100 The guy playing Roger in our play actually is gay, so it obviously can't be that offensive. Welcome to stage comedy.

  • @slees2100 That's the whole point of it. One of the themes is sterotypcial portrayal of homosexuals

  • This...is awesome XD

  • I saw this version of the show in Portland Maine. it ws realy good!

  • Holy shit! This is awesome! lmao

  • I saw this on Broadway with Nathan Lane. It was amazing.

  • Snrrrk. I love how Leo and Max absolutely freak after Roger agrees to sign. XD

  • especially when he say Roger Elizabeth Debre! lol

  • I think I saw the one with Hasselhoff as DeBris at the Paris casino in Las Vegas

  • Hasseloff played DeBris! O_O, that must have been amazing!

  • It was a great performance... I loved how he forgot his lines to one of the songs, he wasn't embarrassed, but he made a funny joke about it 5 minutes later... lol =]

  • that's awesome! thats one of the great things about this show, you can cover easily. We're doing it in my town. I'm jut chorus, but hey! It's a Mel Brooks show!

  • That's what makes it good... LOL

It's still funny to this day; I hated it when it closed last year.

  • I think this was the tour group I saw ... so funny

  • I love the one random hyper-butch lesbian tossed in.

  • Lmfao! Don't we all?

  • @EniesLobby

    hyper-butch rofl

  • Is the assistant to the director supposed to be a boy or girl? Is that the joke?

  • Carmen is a boy, but an extremely feminine one. Find whatever joke in that you want.

  • i saw this production in hilton head. it was my first musical i saw live. once though i saw ten minute of west side story live to till the gun scared the heck out of me

  • omfg i love gaysss. lmao.

  • he's not that brilliant a rodger!

    carmen is great

i think the 2 of the film are the best (2005)

i dont understand where this is?

and why there doesnt seem to be any audience!?

it cant be the london one cause the stage looks to small, where's the audience here?

and can anyone tell me where they get the bit before 'conga' i've heard it in a few recordings,

but its not in the film....or any of the soundtracks

its strange how many different versions of these songs there is lol! cuts and stuf

  • I saw the Producers with Peter Kay as Rodger Debris, it was fantasic!! xxx

  • I love this part... some of my friends from school did it for theatre; it was amazing. :]

  • voll das scheiss klischee. könnt ich als schwuler kotzen!!! minimalste punktezahl!!

  • Saw them in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

    Awesome performance here. :]

  • does anyone know what voice part of roger is?

  • I went to college with Brad and his sister and it's so cool to see him working professionally! We were in a production of "Guys and Dolls" together, and later in a production of "Crazy For You." He's handsome as ever. ;)

  • Is he the fat guy in a dress ?

  • i saw this cast!!! it was awesome!!

  • I did 2 but Bloom was given a black Mic and they taped it to the side of his face and it just looked bad.

    Chris

  • I seen the show in Portsmouth, Ohio. Well, seen as best as I could because I was backstage helping with props. Brad played Max then and Britt Hancock played Roger. I think I like Brad playing Max better and Britt playing Roger. Yes, they are a touring cast. And their sets are incredible! So much work involved with everything! I had such an amazing experience helping them backstage! Everybody was great!

  • They are the touring cast - my husband's good friend Austin Owen plays Bloom. You can check the website.

  • this was...okay

  • It's funny that someone was able to tape like 4 different angles "illegally"...wow that person is very talented. Don't make ignorant comments if you didn't even watch the clip. k?! :)

  • Good point on the camera angles. Still, it's a grade-z production...so I probably didn't make it halfway through as I had to go throw up.

  • LMAO I know, right? XD

  • i loved this one. austin owen was hilariously funny. that show was awesome. ^_^

  • I saw this last thursday at a place down the street! It was wonderful, i loved it!!

  • Well, isn't everyone judgy mcjudge.....

I don't see any of you doing any better!

I think he's fabulous, and you all suck ass.

    (except lyrik7)

  • You guys are nuts - Nacht is fantastic. Just because he doesn't do the role exactly like the original doesn't make it BAD. Nobody wants to be a total copycat.

  • I was being facetious about the Beach thing......

  • That said, this is a delightful cast and solid tour, using much of the Broadway and original tour's production values. I hear however they are recasting a number (if not all) of the roles for the tour's next leg which will launch in the fall.

  • Gary Beach is unmatched in the role and forever will be. Brad does an admirable job (I saw him last month) but his Springtime left a lot to be desired. He didn't understand the Judy Garland factor at all. Furthermore, it has nothing whatsoever to do with Gary Beach not being available or a 2 week vacation period. It's a Non-Equity tour. Beach is equity and wouldn't be able to take the tour even if he wanted to.

  • First of all, you cannot judge an actor by a minute-long clip.

Second of all, Gary Beach wasn't available to tour the country for 10 months with two separate weeks of vacation.

And last (but this time NOT least), this video was made just days after opening night. Seven months later, this cast makes the final Broadway cast and the Vegas production look like amateur hour.

  • Sorry, Gary Beach wasn't available/affordable for the tour.

  • ok, but Brad Nacht was nothing compared to the likes of Gary Beach, and come to think about it, even Peter Kay.

  • Ehhh....Didn't love that Roger. He looked bored, and the song SOUNDED like it. That Carmen was AWESOME though!

  • The Carmen you see here WAS amazing. My favorite was Austin Owen, who played Bloom.

People can't judge them after seeing a minute long clip. I saw the whole show and liked it.

  • Not keen, almost looked amateur, no enthusiasm :(

  • The tempos are just right. They're faster on Broadway and in that bust of a movie because they all want to go home.

  • i actually got to go see this in my home town a week ago.. i had the same idea that the original cast was perfect.. but i have to say this cast was VERY VERY VERY well put together.

  • i think it is tricky after having seen the original cast to accept anyone else ... i find these 2 guys on youtube playing all 8 roles more entertaining :) but always cool to see a video from a live musical show

  • I saw it live but in Australia, it was much better.

  • I saw this live and I thought it was pretty good.

  • Matt, the movie BLOWS. I agree that the tempo is slow in the clip, but it's much brisker now. And remember, punctuation is your friend! Embrace it.

  • You couldn't be talking about the Broderic/Lane movie. It was *identical* to the show.

  • i saw the same actors perform this... i know that it's not lane/broderick... this is the tour cast i think...

  • @giddyup316

Most numbers for touring companies are usually a slower tempo I've noticed. Seeing Spamalot on tour, their

songs were slower than the Broadway show. Maybe conserving energy on the road is a must.

  • too slow movie was better still cool roger kinda looks like the guy in movie just a bit

  • I just saw this! It was so good. I love Roger and Gary, but these guys were really good too.

  • Ahhhh... I hate to say it, but I have to agree. Only Gary Beach can play that role right. I saw him in New York and he still plays that part perfectly! And what was up with Max having a goatee? Ick!

  • Armchair critics are cool.

  • nope, sorry. gary beach and roger bart are the only Roger and Carmen for me. not to mention that the song went way too slow.

  • yeh i totally agree, this song is a dreaful mess
