I know that this vid is very old, but even for its time, that build was sub-par at most. For a build for that time, I'd do something like: 3 Valafar, 3 Guardian, 3 Drago, 3 Crusader, 3 Beast King Barbaros, 3 Exploder Dragon, 3 Boulder, 3 Iron Core, 3 Upstart Goblin, 3 Trade-In, 1 Book of Moon, 1 Monster Reborn, 1 Lightning Vortex, 1 Heavy Storm, 1 MST, 2 Bottomless Trap Hole, 1 Mirror Force, 1 Solemn Judgment, 1 Trap Dustshoot

First of all you do not use doom and you shall have 2gaurdians in your deck,you don't need ice ,one powerhand is more then enough,use 1 drago only,valfar is not the right card so don't use it,Cristal seer is not used in this deck at all,snipe hunter is not used too,Morphing jar helps your enemy more,Night assilant i very bad card,if you have more then 40 cards you do not need upstat goblin,gravekeeprs serven is useles too,pot of avaric,dose not goes in this deck...lol

i would very much recommend either sticking with a koa'ki meiru rock stun or a beast-warrior beat. and also try running some traps like mirror force, trap stun, and royal oppression. i would also recommend putting a few cards like smashing ground or fissure to get rid of monsters with higher attack that you might not be able to get over easily. i believe rock stun is more about field control, and beast-warrior beat is more for k0ing everything in sight.

I have been using koa ki meirus since they were relesed.If you want to try and run different types of koaki meiru I suggest have at last sixx of the same type. Koa ki meiru boulder is almost a must since I see you have very little search power (the goblin card is a drawing card) The deck has many staples 1 enemy 1 lighting vortex You could swithch this to add searching power (iron core inmediate disposal, core transport unit.) Magic cylinder is not that necessary and grav keepers servant

Besides not having some of the newer monsters in your deck, there are some other flaws in the deck. First off you should take out upstart goblin, it's a minus for u and cards that only let u draw 1 card are useless, and second, reckless greed is a REALLY bad card to put in a koaki meiru deck because it skips your draw phases, meaning you can't bring out your iron core from your graveyard. The deck looks okay, but needs to be fixed.

hmm...crystal seer...adding a card to the bottom of the deck...could be potentially problematic..the draw power helps though. maybe trade for cyber valley and/or speeder?

upstart is pointless if you dont have an effect that goes off when u draw. koaki doesnt need to give your opponent any more life. and youd just pick the next card anyway. gavekeepers sevant is a good pick to support ice though. unless ur against lightsworn.

reckless greed makes you skip draw phase, cant reclaim the core.

bwing is much more fun in my oppinion, and is cheaper to make. But the extra deck costs a good bit to make it correctly. The koa'ki deck is hard to make, and will also not be cheap to build right, but (Counting the side deck) is cheaper that the bwings. I would go with the bwings, because they're both fairly cheap, but the bwings is much easier to build/funner to play

Remove Reckless Greed and Add Trap stun. Im not sure if it'll work in this situation, but: If someone says activates tolerantal tribute. Activate it to negate it and all other trap cards. So since he had already wasted a card the threat of Tolerant is gone.
