  • Great song and a very good cover - I say cover as without Peter Green it's not the same Fleetwood Mac but Mick and John obviously held Peter in the highest esteem and its good that they kept Peters music alive once they hit the big (money) time. It certainly brought his music to more people. Rick De Vito does a great job in my opinion.

  • Sucked.... lacking SN and LB. song is crying about spilt milk. BRUTAL

  • Very nice.

  • Need more Peter Green haha

  • FUCK YALL PETER GREEN KICKS ASS ,sorry just had to do that .

  • thousands of pop fans listen do a deep blues - what a great scene....

  • Again the issue is one of timing. When Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined "FM" in 1975, the band were waiting for their big break to happen and needed that burst of creative energy which the two newest members were able to provide propelling the group to the height of super stardom

Fast forward 12 years later and the band were exhausted (creatively and personally). Rick Vito and Billy Burnette arrived when the group were running on empty and already spliting off in different directions

  • I absolutely looove this!!!!

What i wudnt give to go back in time & just be at this concert! Amazing!!! Looove ricks guitar solo!

    xx

  • amazing guitar play

  • Great version all the same.

  • Who wants to bet that 90% or people in that audience never heard that tune before?

  • big lindsey fan--but there is just something about ricks version of this song that REALLY gets to me. i saw him perform this in RI in 87--that was my 1st fm concert. i was 15--ive been an fm fan since i was 5. i love everything they have ever done. was dissappointed not to see lindsey on that tour but his subs turned out to be pretty good--even tho it took 2 dudes to replace him!

  • @iluvlindsey4eva What is wrong with everyone so foolish as to say it took TWO guys to replace L:indsey?! PETER GREEN had TWO other guitarists backing HIM up in the original FM lineup. It is simply the addition of another musician!

  • Buena cancion.

  • Life in the shadow of Peter Green.

  • And after I shot my mouth off about Rick vito not being Peter Green I have to say he's still a damn fine guitarist and singer with great tone in his playing. Lindsey Buck shouldn't me mentioned in the same sentence though I acknowledge Stevie Nicks and him did make a ton of good songs and even more money for Fleetwood Mac. But the real Mac was in Peter Green's days.

  • @gsasko Buckinham is one of the finest guitarists I have ever heard. His album "Out of the Cradle" was a complete masterpiece.

  • @gsasko Don't be silly. Many people would not even know who Peterb Green was if not for FM lasting all of these decades. Each lineup of FM has been great.

  • The lead guitarist whoever he is can't hold a candle to Peter Green's playing or vocals. Why do they list Peter Green as being in this when he's nowhere to be found?

  • Forget it - this is just a laughable embarrassment.

  • Lo mas parecido a las raices de esta gran banda.

  • ** Nicht wollen ist der Grund, nicht können der Vorwand **

    Liebe Grüsse Jeannette

  • No offence get get rid on Lindsey and Stevie and bring Rick back this is what FWM is all about

  • this is the best song! thanks!

  • Silly bluesuburban. :) It's nice to complement Greeny, but your jab at the fabulously talented Rick Vito is unwarranted. He's awesome. He understands Greeny's songs and gives them the perfect tone. Great voice as well -- and a really cool guy, too.

  • i love this version! thanks.

  • Great version of the song.

  • does anyone know what kind of guitar he is using? it is very unique.

  • It was custom built for him. I think I read that on his website. He likes art deco and 50's rockabilly styles, hence the custom guitar and the shirt with the playing cards on it. Pretty cool.

  • Its a Reverend. Its custom made for Rick. I dont think you can buy them anywhere. He still uses it to this day

  • No, the one he's playing here is NOT a Reverend. "Tubes12AX7k" was correct, it's a custom made guitar called a "Streamliner". Rick wouldn't start playing Reverends for about 15 years after this concert

  • lol everyone has there opinions of each version of FM. People hate RIck and Billy, some wish Lindsey never come back, some wish Peter was still with us...honestly, who cares? FM are a great band and they have stood the test of time and have great guitarists go through the 40 years they've been together....

  • Who cares about their stupid history. Who left when and why. They were and still are a great band.

  • i agree with you!

  • Priceless tune.

  • you have very good ears!

  • He's as great as Peter Green and David Gilmour. Love it!

  • lindsey is back with "fleetwood mac" because he could not sell his own albums!

  • i like Rick a lot.

  • Jimmy Hendrix is the guitar God. :D

  • good god lady why are you still bitchin at me I don't give a flyin fuck if you get wet over Vito I'm done debating it fuck off

  • i will get fucking "WET" over with whom I feel! fucking asshole!

  • Hey jache, don't let them get to you so much! ;) There will always be a few militant Lindsey worshippers who feel the need to endlessly attack Rick, even now, twenty years later. Why? They're both great, and they've both gotten even better over the years. This band's had an amazingly high caliber of guitarists over the years (beginning of course with Peter Green) and they're all very worthy of our respect. Rick did this Green tune beautifully!

  • i love you! thanks for being a good person!

  • lindsey could not get anybody wet!

  • IT'S CALLED THERAPY LADY GET SOME!!

  • eat your own shit! hitler lover!

  • buckingham is one big ASSHOLE and he realized it after he left!

  • WAS god. he left the band. do not forget!

  • excellente Rick Vito's version

love especially the end of his guitar solo

  • No...Green was God!!

  • thank you!

  • ok look you're getin all upset for nothin. I don't give a shit that you have a crush on vito the fact that you're chewin me out dont make no fucking sense

  • Smooooooth

    :)

  • the fact of the matter is Fleetwood mac is nt the same without Lindsey. And Its really strange you comment to me about this now

  • do you intend on arguing this

  • Have to agree that Lindsey was special, but hey Rick did a great job, love him, going to see Mick Fleetwoods Blues Band fea. Rick next month, so exicted can't wait.

  • Where about ???

  • broadway, peterborough, Mick Fleetwoods Blues Band are on tour at the moment. Counting down the days.

  • I've just ordered tickets for the Newcastle gig....Can't wait.

How the hell did I not know about this tour...The marketing team need shot.

  • Glad you have tickets. Must agree about the marketing for the tour, I only found out by accident looking at forthcoming artists at the broadway, when I saw this gig advertised the tickets were not even available!

Be interested to hear your reviews about the show. Enjoy.

  • Lindsey Buckingham gave Fleetwood Mac that Buckingham/Nicks sound, which is very unique and very special and can never be duplicated.

The one thing that Rick Vito brings here is a moment's return to that original Fleetwood Mac sound. If you look at Mick Fleetwood closely in this video, you can see it, surely. It's that brief joy in reliving something from a long ago time.

Just my perception, of course. Rick Vito is an outstanding guitarist.

  • you know your music! bless you!

We had the pleasure to meet him in June in Nashville... WOW!!!

  • LINDSEY IS FUCKING SHIT!

  • very good feeling !!!

    this is peter green ?

Because now it is very different

  • No, this is Rick Vito, member of Fleetwood Mac since 1987 to 1990.

  • @matthewsnicksfan was he lead for that period?

  • Well, come back baby;I know I treated you wrong! What a kind of meaning lying under...

  • Very good! One of best Mac's songs... And this guy plays it very well.

  • i love this - i've been loking for this for a while... do u know if it is possible to get this on cd or dvd?

  • The original is available on CD, Fleetwood Mac's debut album titled 'Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac'. In addition to this, Gary Moore recorded a wonderful version on his 'Blues for Greeny' album.

  • thanks for the info.

  • This is a wonderfully restrained and tasteful version, good stuff.

  • kick ass video I do however like the original better but this is great!
