Just because you're rhyming words over a beat doesn't mean you're actually rapping. In the same way that just tapping on a drum at 120 bpm doesn't mean you're making music.
I'm gettin pretty fuckin sick of all these "carry the beat" rappers ruining raps good name. What they do isn't rap, its rap-inspired.
