This is a perfect example of how you can get to the higher levels in America by choping. Most people will just try to powerloop your chop, and mostly they fail. So you win.

Americans also have very very low ratings compared to the rest of the world. For example, a USATT 2300 player wouldn't be 2100 points in Austrailian rating.

American players usually think they can just buy fancy fast spinney equipment and blast their way to victory. This only gets them so far. Ive seen little kids with a T

@WorthlessGeek i do not think so. You never play tt in America. American Gov does not invest money for sport. So if you can pay by yourself for beeing coaching 30-50 $ per hour you can pay. In other countries Gov does not asking citizens to put mony on tt. just do it. china gov steal 500 000 000 from taxes only to invest in tt. what country you live.??

@WorthlessGeek I've seen kids around my rating level with Clippers and Timo Boll ALCs, that were recommended to them from their coach. I can safely say that even though these are good coaches they don't have the best judgement. I used to think that way too. Now I'm using Sriver FX which I consider to be one of the best backhand rubbers besides Acuda S3 and Aurus Soft. And for the forehand I'm using a cheap, soft half tacky rubber.

Now I just have to bump up my rating from 809 : P

@scrumpymanjack He is Paul David and he is rated 2377 in the US which is very high. She is actually rated high than him because she is rated 2468 in the US. But she mainly plays against women in tournaments while he normally plays men so it is tough to say which is better just based on ratings.

Don't get me wrong, I like this vid, too.

But, it is funnny: Even though the quality of this vid is, let's say: not the best AND according to the fact that girl is a chopper - NOone complains about it. :)

If the guy would win this game chopping against the girl playing Topspin/ Loops/ Drives, there would be lots of comments about the ugly chopping-style ruining the game of table tennis (That is not my opinion, btw.). ^^

Oh, and YES, the girl is hot... :)

@lousyfication I do think that chopping is rather annoying and not very fun, though... Though it does take a crap ton of touch and skill, it's simply not very exciting to watch or play against.
