  • Those zebra fish are canibbles!

  • best thing i found out that is less headach and cheaper. is just put alot of plants in your tank and let nature take corse. ive had more babies live that way with both mollies and guppies

  • did u try to film this with ur wii my xbox controller has more pixels but cool vid

  • Can u check my Vidal of red wag platy and see if she pregnant

  • she's kinda totally freaking out isn't she?

  • @HitdeHippie She is trying to get to the babies to eat them. Yes the mom fish eat their babies.

  • @countrybabe561

    I know that:) but still...

I just want to say that a breeding tank like that, isn't very good for the mom.

  • @HitdeHippie I have these and so do all of the other fish breeders I know. You shouldn't say something if you don't know if its true. There are many ways to house a female fish. They only go in this for maybe 2-3 days and once they are done having babies/you are satified with the # of babies, you let her out into the normal tank. She might continue having babies in the tank but hey, fry are probably the most healthy food for adult fish.

  • @countrybabe561

Í am a fish breeder:) But I just prefer other ways.

  • @HitdeHippie You could have said that instead of "I just want to say that a breeding tank like that, isn't very good for the mom."

  • i have a male molly & female molly , the female molly has been pregnant for sometime. How long does it take for them too have the babies?

  • congrats yo

  • the cage is torture..

  • the mother was like i want to eat my babies GIMMI GIMMI GIMMI!!!!

  • My Molly-Fish is also pregnant.

She is pregnant for about 3-4 weeks now, and is (for a molly-fish) VERY huge!

Think she is going to get babies this week.

It`s all new to me, just started a tropical aquarium like 2-3 months ago...

Wonder if some babies are gonna survive...

Thanks for sharing this video, it`s kinda "educative" ;-)

  • @worldofmp3 most welcome,

my advice is to get a birthing tank, also changing adding a fresh water to the tank will help the fish to deliver.

also make sure of the water temperature.

    :D

update me when the fish delvers the babies also add a video of them :D

  • @fadiaswad

did ur fish turn white at the gills

  • @worldofmp3 I'M GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING NOW... I STARTED MY AQUARIUM 2 MONTHS AGO AND NOW I HAVE 2 PREGNANT MOLLY FISH AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO...PLEASE HELP ME !!!WHAT DID YOU DO? DID THEY SURVIVE?

  • @Francheska7778

put them in a seperated birthtank (as you can see in this video). everything should work out fine. I was going to my work that day, and when I returned, the babies were born! I had no fish that liked to eat little mollies, so 18 of them (total of 2 times pregnant) survived.

  • the other fish who are not in the hatchery net are like omg food give me your babys for lunch! yum yum yum yum fishy baken! but lucky for me i am a vegetarion and so on :)

  • @tinkerbrittany yeah, they arew trying to get through the plastic. "Yum yum baby fishys!!! GIMMEI!!"

  • was molly crapping out the babies?

  • are they mamels

  • I have 2 males and 1 female and they dont want to bree:(

  • Funny, how do you attach the breeding tank to the tank?

  • @CoreyTheHorse the breeding tank in this video is a floating one, i have the same kind.

  • lolol i have the same breeder tank for my guppies

  • ok Pls help! I dunno if my molly is preggo! please help! go to my page. find my vid click see more and find is my molly pregnant? pls help

  • my molly fish just gave birth .. im new with fish.. are the babies supose to lay at the bottom.. and if so for how long.. are they dead?

  • @fadiaswad okey

  • i will make a video today of the tank so u can tell me what i need to add to the tank gonna buy a seperate mini box 2 in 1 box for 7$.

  • k i will make one soon but i just got the tank so dont rly have any decoration or lots of plants

  • when do i need to buy the seperate box? i found one for 7$ the one that u can keep 2 guppys in.

  • well, i bought 1 male red male guppy and 2 female guppys one has got black/white body whit yellow dots on long fins, and the other one is black/purple both are fat.

  • nice then we need to see a vedio for them ;)

  • k i'm gonna buy 1 male and 2 female guppy's today i think and the mini box

  • Molly fish is more easy to get pregnant :D

  • can i put a fish in that box when i know that its pregnant? or when should i put it in the box and do they need a special temperature? cold, warm or decent plz reply

  • You should but the fish in the box after 3 or 4 weeks of her pregnant. This is a variable time depending on the type of the fish you can search for how long every kind of fish last in pregnancy.

And the best conditions to let the fish delivers is to adjust the temp of the water to 27 degrees if you are going with tropical fish. Also adding fresh water.

  • am not sure i got this one pregnant from the shop.

  • How long was the molly in the breeding trap?

  • about how long did it take until the babies started to move/swim?

  • it takes around 1 ~ 2 houres

  • how warm is your water? is about 74-76 warm enough for the mollies to breed in?

  • no btween 77 and 80

  • i see some fantail guppies and tiger barbs ! =] i love em!

  • Flygirl, you can buy that birthing tank at any well stocked pet store selling fish supplies... got mine at PetSmart. It cost about 7 bucks US. Floats in the main tank and isolates the fry until they are large enough to survive in main population tank (normally 1-2 weeks

  • Where did u buy that thing that she is in?

  • yes i did

it is like a small plastic net with a filter inside to separate the mother from the small fish

  • look at all the other fishes goin' crazy...

    they must taste good...

    allah ykhalilak yehon...
