He was already dead but was a spirit that moved into a dream like plane of existence and met Yuna otherwise she would not have been able to send him on to the next plane with her spirit dance, so Tidus was NOT a dream or imagination. He was a spirit that was corporeal (in the flesh).

It was going at 5 stars in the beginning but the clips from X-2 when Tidus and Yuna are shot ruined it. They aren't really shot, it's just Yuna's minds that's messing with her. 2 stars for timing and editing, 2 for the "titanic effect". 4/5 stars good work.
