In the 90s they were at there peak, the tree house of horror episodes use to be amazing, the writting was very consistent and had u laughing from the beginning all the way till the end of the episodes, they use to have so many memorable musicals remember song like "see my vest", etc...now a days the writters have not given us a single memorable musical, Matt groening use to be the leader and use call the other writters out and say the script is weak now he has no power.

@horrorguy98 I agree with your line of thought, although i think it really went downhill after the simpsons movie in 2007 and i couldnt bear watching it long after the HD switch, unfortunately after their long run of 'flops' i no longer watch this show (with the possible exception of episodes i know to be good) after watching these youtube segements i must agree that the 90`s (episodes) were a of much better quality than later episodes....
