  • Jimi Hendrix playing at the Halfmoon in Putney? Hell, I might pop down there.

  • are we really not much? i don't often see guys/girls like here, who listen to good music!

  • do you that thats "voodoo child"

  • nice

  • Who the fuck is that Beaver guy ? Never heard a single thing he..whatever he does on stage, guess I'm lucky to live in Europe. But he, he won't get any women when he's not popular anymore. Hendrix, Jim Morrison, and even Kurt Cobain had, have, and will have more women, even despite the fact they all are dead. And they help us, too. Be smooth as silk, sharp as a knife, know when to pull which string, and how hard, everything else comes with practice. Thats not only a guitar lesson. ;)

  • If I ever heard Hendrix live there would be no point of living because i already saw the greatest thing there could ever be.

  • Jimi hendrix could make hes wahhy guitar speak.

  • And in the End there is only one Jimi Hendrix. Smooth as Onyx, clear as Crystal, eternal as Gold and colourful as Amber can be.

  • is timeless..the song is like a psychedelic painting..it takes you to colorful landscapes ...i had my first trip listening to it and i was playing it all night .

  • nice

  • where footage about 2:00 is from??

  • @Qoooba95 Woodstock I think

  • nice ...

  • guitar strumming reminds me of little wing

  • Hendrix was as great then as Justin Beiber is today. Very unique

  • @kazeet456 Close but Beiber is better...

  • @ryda37

what the hell is wrong with you!!!?!

  • @battleswedeJr I was being sarcastic. I thought kazeet456 was too but now I'm rethinkin that haha

  • @ryda37 J Beiber is a MUCH better singer than Hendrix, I'll give you that. But Hendrix plays an instrument, so as far as total talent goes I have to give Jimi Hendrix a slight edge.

  • @kazeet456 Sorry, thought you were joking. I still don't know if you are or not, but Beiber is not a very good singer. Have you heard him sing? Not saying I don't like him. He seems like a nice guy. I think Hendrix is one of the greatest musicians/artists of all time.

  • @ryda37 btw bieber is gay wtf r u somking?!?!?!?!

  • @MrSpencee3 Bieber probably gets more women than you could handle. You can call him gay but reality is, Bieber is a pimp.

  • @ryda37 but being a pimp is illegal so shouldn't he be in jail?

  • @TheAstroTech Yes it does, I will alert the authorities

  • @ryda37 fuck yeah! no more shit from him maybe rebecca black is a coke dealer they should arrest her to

  • @TheAstroTech Yea I heard that. I also heard Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest have been spotted back stage with their shirts off during a break...

  • @ryda37 that made my day thank you

  • @TheAstroTech hahaha glad to hear

  • @ryda37 Pimp? More like Gimp? amiright

  • @Scrappy1138 Hah! yea did I say pimp? I meant shrimp. Sorry for the confusion

  • @kazeet456 ummm Beiber is not very unique most music on the radio these days isnt.

  • @kbizgod You're stuck in the past. This music is great and I like listening to it, but it's not as nuanced as todays music. there's been a lot of improvement over the past 40 years.

  • @kazeet456 Really? No one feels it anymore. Sure, the quality of recording is out the roof nowadays. But it isn't an excuse for poor music. Nobody does what Jimi did. I listen to everything, I'll give you that and there isn't anything like this music. Stuck in the past? No. Jimi is in the future. His music has lived on for so long and you can't discredit that. I can appreciate what you like but Hendrix opened my eyes to what really cannot be described, only felt. Hendrix is incomparable.

  • Love the 70s headstock, who else has one?

  • ohhhhgggghhhhhh i just came

  • They don't make em' like they used to

  • Play some shitty music first. Listen all the shitty song. Turn Jimi on. Earorgasm.

  • @mtyrio It's rather >> Do anything. Turn Jimi on. Earorgasm.

  • Fugging gawlld this is tooo sweeet!

  • sounds awsome

  • one of the best jams from him <3

  • If you like this song listen to Earl Hooker, "His first and Last Recordings"

  • @lampshad3126 Is that off "Two Bugs And A Roach" Album second song? Thats is a killer wah-wah song. This is better though.....

  • @Strat0Blues No it is a mostly instrumental recording by him from 1969 and released in 1972 after his death. Lots of wah pedal and slide together making for a very unique sound

  • totally born in the wrong era, viva revolution baby! todays music is shit, it isnt music thats the problem! one of the coolest freakins songs ever

  • @olschool99 ...born in 1953....11 years old when BEATLES came to U.S. in 1964....grew up with them, and, actually made it to BERKLEY in 1971...saw concerts at the FILLMORE WEST and WINTERLAND....YES TODAYS MUSIC IS SHIT....YOUTUBE IS SO COOL....

  • Yeah Timbween, let's start a revolution ;)

  • @SeagullTheFreegull ahah, but I'm not bragging, just say than I love this song. Fucking stupid...

  • @philprincepolo so let's start a revolution

  • @Smeegz20 It's not only Jimi.. and what is with the atmosphere in the 60ies? I'm born in the wrong generation, absolutely :'-(. It sounds strange maybe, but I see no sense in my life in the 21th century. (Before I forget to say, I am from Germany I am still learning English, so I can't speak perfect.)

  • @philprincepolo dude, you speak/write just fine.

  • I'm 15, and i like cheese.

  • He makes love with his beloved guitar

  • best fucking song man

  • I think I heard a version of this with him and Buddy Miles. I like this one way better. Found another Hendrix masterpiece I've never heard before! Thanx for posting this gem. that Wah Wah is incredible. The chords sound like Gypsy Boy, that sad Delta Blues just totally was the master at. thanx again.

  • @stein7541 I'll join you

  • @WhiteHat88 same here bro

  • null and void the video with the song.

The video is from woodstock and other Invalid videos xD

  • who is playing the 2nd guitar? too bad this is not all footage of the orig. jam.

  • @vinnyguitarandbass I think its Noel Redding, He did play the bass lines for Red House on a six string guitar on the studio version.

  • @mumblecrust74 I think is jimi, recordering the second guitar after recorded the song

  • @vinnyguitarandbass I belive it was a member of curtis knight's band, one of the r&b guys he played with before he was famous. This was respectively recorded on August 8th, 1967 during the second reunion session with Curtis Knight in studio 76, NYC. This actually was not an actually song called Hush Now, but was constructed out of a jam session and released as a 'fake' jimi hendrix album by PPX enterprises, whom he was still contractually bound to at the time

  • I have to listen to this everyday.

  • I am infatuated with this song, don't know what to do with it though

  • Cant find this on itunes any idea where i can find it? Please no sketchy websites... THanks

  • @TIGERXBLOOD , oh, really?

  • Where is this from? A big Jimi fan and never heard this before.

  • @mollistan , from a release called Early Instrumentals (I think) also its on an album he recorded with Ottis Redding.

  • @mollistan Sorry, not Ottis Redding it was Curtis Knight, my bad.

  • wouldn't you love to play guitar with this legend

  • who is the guy he is playing guitar with in the first scene??

  • @21Domp I'm pretty sure it's Noel Redding. He was a rock guitarist before he became the bassplayer of the jimi hendrix experience.

  • 3:10 till 3:37 is just EPIC.. Jimi, I bow to thee...

  • I think this is ripped from "The Eternal Fire of Jimi Hendrix with Curtis Knight" Side 2 Track 2.

  • there is no way this isnt jimi.no one ccan play with this kind of soul

  • Happy B-Day Jimi.

  • IT'S SLASH'S DAD! lol

    He is still the best.

  • @PLASMABAND Agreed!

  • i pused my porn for this ... lml aaww yeah!!!

  • 16 people need to pack another bowl!!

  • @75erick75 I GOT HASH !!!! LOL

  • There are a lot of Hendrix rip offs. Not totally convinced the person playing guitar on the audio is actually Hendrix. Not ruling it out, but just wondering.

  • @MLATX512 It is, he recorded this in 68 i think for a curtis knight session because he still had a contract pending for another dude...

  • @MLATX512 I agree with Dns2080, he had to be anonymous sometimes to play what he liked and not just producing 'hits'. Yes, you never know though, too many postings that are erroneous, that's the net for you. Too many imposters.

  • @MLATX512 I think its too good to be anyone else

  • @MLATX512 If its not Hendrix... where can I buy ALL the albums by "this other" guy? haha just kiddin', but if it aint Hendrix who cares, he got it well and done! Its a beautifull song, with very much (all) of Hendrix style in it.

  • @odyrsohn It's a pretty well know Hendrix rarity. Google it.

  • why aent these poeple dieing do to exposure of godlyness

  • I love hendrix but this isn't his best

  • @tacitus2244 everything from hendrix is the best.

  • I love the scene when inhales with the hippie chicks....I bet he would make a great candidate for US president today :)

  • @ES175jazz VOTE HENDRIX IN 2012!! ;)

  • @StratoBlaster420 If he were alive today, I'd bet he would President!!

  • I think these are the chords for Crossroads from Eric Clapton just changed up a bit....

  • Great tune! never heard before but its great...Thanks!

  • @ES175jazz Hehe, just when you think you've heard all of Hendrix, another pops up just around the corner, how can anyone not love Hendrix? He is just simply amazing.

  • 16 dislikers should be Hushed .
