  • THANKS FOR THE TUTORIAL HELPED ALOT

  • thanks.. just what i was looking for

  • that was great! Thanks for posting!

  • there are 2 things that bothered me, why not do both eyes in the same layer? and u didnt change layer to erase on the other eye, wish means u didnt erase anything.. if u had done both eyes in the same layer then that wouldnt be a problem.. otherwise it a good video how to color eyes in an easy way

  • The light at each eyes is different, right eye has more light than the left. So if you want to change opacity etc, both eyes opacity will change, if they are on one layer.

  • yeah but he uses the same opacity for both eyes anyways, and the same effect, so he could have done that in just one layer, which would have made it easier for those who aint that familar with photoshop to understand

  • yes except the quick keys

    the rest is the same

  • Oh thx it's the best video, the easyest!

  • thanx man but u seem kinda boring

  • tnk u so much

  • why you don't use lasso tool for selection ? its easyer with lasso

  • LOL! He sounds like Microsoft Sam :D

  • How do you get the camera program that shows what your doing on your screen? Please and thanks! Nice video by the way.

PLEASEE HELP IF YOU KNOW. COMMENT BACK!!

  • YOu ca but you have to make a new layer, take a brush any color, and where it sas "Normal" click on that and change it to color and you can change it. I have that (I lost CS2) and it works I edit eyes all the time with it

  • i think it might be adobe photoshop 7.0

    with best regards

    KAMI

  • To fix that pen tooling problem you need to change the setting of pen tool you are using. if you look about all your tools where you would change your gradient type if you were doing a gradient fill you will see that there is a few options. the option you are currently on (default) is the shape layers pen, you need to select the next one across and choose paths... hope this helps

  • :DDDDDDDDDD

  • by the time i cut out the eye and made the selection my eye is all black!!

  • done that. but my colour is gery and i cnt change it help!

  • when i do the pen thing. when i round it the circe is all white

  • this helpedd A LOT , very easy to follow too. thank you :)

  • Okay.. after im all done how can i change it back to the colors? I mean I don't want it black and white anymore o_o

  • how did u fill it in??

  • question my friend. what about if the photo has color? does this is being affected?

I cant do it your way, with a colored picture.. can you help me ?

  • more info. click that

  • Thanks for the sharing your tutorial..

    Did you use any actions?

  • Thanks a lot!! This was really easy and actually worked!! Thanks a lot!!

  • Nice video! Thank you

  • thanks and good job

  • helpful thanks

  • Great tutorial, exactly what I was looking for, thank you! =-)

  • I'm following along, but I must have some settings screwed up. When I create a new layer, zoom into the eye & select the pen tool - as I'm tracing around the iris, it fills up black or whatever color shows on the color palette. I looked at the top bar to see if I could change some of the settings, and selected "paths" (the box with the pen in it). It let me select around the iris without filling, BUT now I can't get the stupid paint bucket to fill in a color! HELP! What am I doing wrong?

  • nevermind. I've got it now. Great tutorial. Thanks!

  • mine does the same thing. But, i figured out that if you just leave it fill up black, you then go to the paint bucket with the selected color of ur choice, and fill it in. A little pop up may come up that says something like the pic will lose its vector mask, click ok. Then follow the rest of the vid. :)

  • Can Someone Please Help Me!?!? it Stays On The Fucking "Glove" Thing Instead Of The Arrows. u Know That Annoying Glove Thing, Where u Can Move The Picture Up Or Down?!!?!? How Do i Change it To Pen!?!?! Instead Of The Glove.

  • in reality is the sun rays can change the color of your eye?

  • if that theory was true, would we all have the same color or dif color eyes at night?

  • Well done mate, let those ONLINERS whine.

  • Helped me. Haha. thanks.

  • 1 Pen Tool is for beams

2 You use the polygon lasso tool

    3 Learn to use photoshop

  • 1 your a fat ugly bitch

2 you cant reposition each anchor point with the polygon lasso tool.

3 learn how to diet and exercise.

  • Arnt you the defensive asshole?Instead of spazzing out on people, try and learn how to handle criticism.

  • its not criticism. shes trying to be superior. shes arrogant, and ignorant. "learn to use photoshop" is not a crit. i could destroy her in anything photoshop.

  • gotta admit she is a fat basterd

  • yeah I agreed to..she was trying to be too smart..this for the ones who wanna lean.pepople shud appreciate this guy. and after all if she is so fucking good shouldn't have watch this.

  • LOL oh well played. well played.

  • HAHAHA

  • you ARE not a good teacher.

you're not even freaking detailed or specific! you dont tell us how to get to this or that! sayingg go to your paint bucket and crap

  • ok....

  • this guy has a lot to learn about the pen tool. first of all...you can get the whole eye in 4 easy clicks with curves with the pen! this guy needs more more knowledge of this

  • man your arrogant. why are you watching tutorials on this stuff if your so fuckin good? and i know how to make curves with the pen tool but i choose not to. sue me!

  • Something is not right, every time I change the blending to soft light the black part of the changes color as well, either you are working on a perfect black and white picture or this doesn't work like you say

  • Learn to click More Info.

  • pretty basic nice tut good job !

  • when i fill the eye with paint bucket and change it to "soft light", it does do anything to the colour to blend in....what should i do?

  • thx m8

  • i cant cause the seleccions fills with balkck any way and on my layers on my second layer appears a second one in black , why?

  • i cant!!

  • noob gay

  • hey!!

    lov da vid !! ;)

cud u show 1 on clothing pweeez!!!

  • I'm going to try after work...always wonder how it was done.

  • *applauses* Im amazed!!!! I thought that it would be the hardest thing on earth!!!

    *immediately opens photoshop.....* 6/5*

  • it wont work for me i think its because my picture is too blurry when i zoom in. sucks =(

  • If it's too blurry, you can use sharp mask :) but it also depends on resolution of the picture. you need a big picture to make it looks good.

  • which photoshop did you use?

  • two*

and thats how to make it not fill with black

  • great you made it look so easy....:)

  • i cant use the pen tool!

everytime i outline the eye, it just fills in black. i cant get it to stop.

  • GRR!!! SAME HERE!!! How do you use the pen tool without it filling with black???

  • select the pen tool, then there will be a few options that come up at the top of your screen regarding the pen tool. On the left of those options you will see to little squares, click the one to the right with the little pen icon in the middle of it. This will make your selection into paths instead of shapes and you will be fine.

  • sweet thanx!

  • There's an easier way... just do a new layer, put the color where you want to change eyes, hair, whatever and play around with the layer-effects ... much easier and not so time taking...

  • Isn't the brush tool easier and more accurate than the pen tool.

  • Awesome! I may be only 11 but I love photoshop!

  • What i usually do to speed things up is, instead of using pen tool, i use magnetic laso tool and select both the eyes together. This saves time but yeh the rest pretty much the same way u did. Pretty neat! =)

  • im too? i can't fill in??

  • Um, how do you just fill in the color?? I don't get it.. At 2:01

  • The pen tool has always been and will forever be the death of me. It doesn't matter if it's Photoshop of InDesign... I always have to have someone with steadier hands help me mouse it. x.x

  • Is this on Photoshop CS3 ?

  • YEA CS3 EXTENDED

  • when i use the pen tool, it makes the whole area black?! HELP!!!

  • above the layer you've selected you should see "opacity" and "fill"...in your case you should turn the fill to 0 and it should take the black fill out.

  • THANK YOU SWEETHEART :D!
