You're right. Both are animals and both have a heart beat.
But humans make other animals their slaves.
In this video we can see how a human thinks as if he was a slave himself, and if it was possible his future would be to become food for people.
On the other hand, this chicken thinks about itself as if it was a human and it is imaginig how its life might be outside the cage,
