my brother, Marty, had Big Swing Face going non stop in the next room when we were kids growing up in Azusa, CA. I would have my Beatle records going to fight the raging sound. No luck. Ended up loving Buddy Rich. How could you not? The West Side Story LP is another great one.

Not sure this isn't from Big Swing Face. that or he made the band do it note for note?

Is it me, or can I see the Muppets/Sesame Street using this song for something?

As always with Buddy, excellent. I heard somewhere that when he records live concerts for cds, he will only release it if he thinks it's perfect, which he had a very high standard for music quality.

This was originally recorded on the " Big Swing Face" album in 1967 at " The Chez" in Hollywood, California.
