  • @Neit54 Cheers man yeah the guitar is a Fender Showmaster, don't know if they still produce them, it's pretty cool - 24 frets- not sure about the pickups though maybe some humbuckers woulda been better :0)

  • cool

    :D

  • @zyga599blabla thanks a lot :)

  • that was a very metal version, i beleve that if a metal band played the song, that would be what they play

  • @abc123unmegrrl lol yeah maybe a little :-)

  • Sweet!

  • Lol thanks :)

  • you are really good :D

  • Pretty good....but the mark of a true YouTube player is the ability to duplicate......not ad lib.....not bad ...but ad libers usually do that to disguise the fact they can't duplicate...or they dont want to take the time to learn the song completely....I did like it though.

  • Yeah man I agree I think it probably does take more skill to copy something exactly. At the moment I don't really have the patience for that. I'll work on it :)

    Thanks for the comment :)

  • I couldn't disagree more. It takes much more musical presence to take a solo and mold it into your own, much like this player did here. He kept the structure and the key the same so the listener recognizes what he is playing, but he used the tools in his own bag to play it. That's way better than just learning what you hear on the album. That's how guitar players develop their own sound.

  • Lol yeah also a good point. Maybe you've just got to make it your own while also making it look like you could have played it note perfect if you'd wanted to :)

  • damn that was good. wish i could play it that well

  • Well I actually don't practice that much - if you spent 30 minutes practicing every day you could be as good in a matter of weeks I'm sure :)

    Thanks for the comment :)

  • omg this is brilliant can u post a vid of how to play the whole song plz !!!!1 on electric :D

  • I might at some point - I'm sure there are some good tutorial's already on youtube that you can check out in the meantime though :)
