My fave dog is alsation too even though I have been bitten twice by them when I was a wee boy I was running through a field and one ran up behind me and bit my bum and one time I took a shortcut through a car wash car park and the caretaker let the dog out just as I was passing and it bit me on the leg. I don't have a dog now had one until I got married but If I did it would be an Alsation black or very dark is my fave.

beautiful german shepard, they have become my new fave dog next to the beagle....

Chadwick was really extraordinary dog,,,she saved my life ..became homeless with me.....

and eventually became part of my cottage home here....before being put to sleep in her most loved car..she kissed me goodbye...we were so close...

We all come to our Windows of Time and sometimes they are shared.

The sign is for you the palm; for me the cat i met in the cemetry when visited my mother's grave shortly after the funeral. The cat kept me the company all the way to other graves too. He was silent, he left me just at the gate as i was going out. i said to him'her 'gdbye'. My mother was a mad cat-lover. i never saw this cat again.

i wonder what i will leave when i die....traces of us are always around......my mothers' gift is so precious and typical of only her.....one moment the room was empty nothing and no one there .....on my re-entering i saw the palm on the floor...and i know it was not there before.....

@sunlightforeveryone i have no explanation i asked my mother as she lay dying on a ventilator to somehow tell me something....to know she was still with me....and the palm moved out of the basket and lay onthe floor..i was amazed ..told her priests...took photos..it is framed now ..here where she had her bedroom in this old cottage that knew her well.....thank you for your sweet words...mary
