In a nursing home from my hometown, I once saw a lady ghost glamourously dressed in WWII era fashion, a Joan Blondell lookalike. She appeared suddenly when she saw me consoling a grieving elderly patient. Only that this ghost was not at all scarey. Everything about her was all reassuring, warm and charming. She smiled sweetly as she looked at the patient in bed. On her face, I saw her expression of a motherly love. She turned around to me, thanked me for caring for her daughter and disappeared.
As a former inhabitant of the Adolescent unit in 1977 i remember it well as a very nice place that helped teenagers who had some social issues. The age range was from 13 to 16 and i can assure you that there were no 6 year olds or anything like it. I am sorry to burst your bubble, but you have taken a vid of a derelict building and badly need to get a life.
@TeEnZiE No i'm afraid not. However, it has been relatively normal so far. Or maybe i am deceased and am a ghost from the unit as i remember it so well. Sorry but no one died there either.
@TeEnZiE The place was called the Adolescent unit. The word adolescent basically means teenager. This alone disproves this nurse's statement ,that is of course if she exists. I can see how the place now looks a bit spooky but back in it's day it was just a ward to help teenagers from broken homes etc with social issues.
...This is the kind of site that makes Derelict Institutions Worth exploring,Having all the old equipment in this place and not have been removed Makes the Dig Far more engaged in attention and curious...This is a good exerpt!

I did you nobend - I said some of the villa's are supossed so be haunted - Read the description and use your 5 brain cells you currently have left in your head, watch you don't pop 1 though and end up with only 4!
Hey TeEnZiE, there's an abandoned house near where I live.. it's really spooky. Some guy died there like 30 years ago after getting lead poisoning and killing his family. Anyway, I was wondering when I'm shooting my films, (Havent been posted) (Dumb camera) I was wondering if you had any "Safety" tips when in an unstable structure like that. Im afraid of it falling in. What should I do?
Not much to say really - just be carefull! Walk around the edges of the rooms if you're going up stairs and don't all stand in the same spot if there is more than one of you. My foot went through the floorboard in an old house - lucklily it was down stairs. I think in most cases if your foot does go through the floor it would just make a small hold and your leg'll dangle lol
I like spooky places, many years ago (not like hundreds) me and a friend would stay out all weekend shooting, we would sleep in either the old farm house or one of the outbuildings near it, they were great times, your videos kind of remind me of times past, it's a housing estate now:-(
Cool, you should hunt around for some other places for good old times! I'd say you should go back again shooting, but maybe not a good idea in a housing estate lol

I think it was 2001 or 3 maybe not quite sure. The first building to stop being used was Villa 9 in the late 70's.
