  • I wanna take my baby up this roller coaster!

  • This is by far my favorite Silverado commercial.

  • i always like when i pass truckers they give me a nod indicating we are on the same level of manliness. then i scratch my beard and put one hand on the top center of the steering wheel. it makes me feel like us non-minority men who drive trucks are the best. USA!! USA!! USA!!

  • @LBoarder44 @nickcc17 it was actually filmed on loveland pass not independence pass

  • A button to alow it down? Chevy would do this haha.

  • @Ekiepfoo They did this because when the truck was being tested the truck did not stop as quick as they wanted.

  • Anyone know where this is filmed? Its gorgeous!

  • @LBoarder44 This was filmed on Independence Pass right outside of Aspen, Colorado.

  • @nickcc17

    Wow, its incredible!

  • @LBoarder44 This was filmed on Loveland Pass, Colorado. Highway 6.

  • Chevy Runs Deep (Deep into the JUNK yard) I'll take a Ford Super Duty.

  • @Zinizzle Shut up fanboy.

  • @Petersworld518 No fan boy here. I've owned just about everything you can think of. My Japanese vehicles were the best. And for trucks the good old F150 never let me down. On the other hand my Chevy's could never make it over 100k without something going wrong. And that cheap rattle and squeaking your stuck with.

  • @Zinizzle Fair enough. You are more that encouraged to have your own opinion and enjoy it. But I get ticked off reading page after page of people saying "This truck sucks!" and "Truck A is was better than a POS Truck B!" So if you could do me a favor and just don't

  • @Petersworld518 Thanks. The HD's don't suck i'll take one over a Dodge. Then again the only thing good about them is the Duramax Diesel made by isuzu and the Tranny made by Allison. That's well worth the money. But I like my Super Dutys.

  • @Zinizzle

The duramax isn't made by Isuzu, it never was. It's made in a plant that was co-owned by GM and Isuzu, GM bought the shares of the venture Isuzu owned years ago, waaay before this generation duramax. Unlike the previous powerstrokes which were all Navistar if I'm not mistaken. And GM formed Allison and owned it outright till 2007, only makes sense to have them do the trans.

  • @mak450 Put it this way, the only reason why GM signed a joint venture with isuzu was to have them engineer the duramax. The Duramax is General Motors diesel engine family for light- and medium-duty trucks, designed by Isuzu. The 6.6 liter Duramax is produced by DMAX, a joint venture between GM and Isuzu in Moraine, Ohio. The venture. Correction* ISUZU RE PURCHASED ITS STOCK FROM THE SHAREHOLDER (GM) ISUZU REDUCES GM'S 49% TO 12%.

  • @Zinizzle

Uhh yeah...just like Ford had International/Navistar do for them with the powerstroke. Except the duramax wasn't an unreliable heap made buy a bunch of pricks so they kept working with them. You're in a glass house buddy...

And they most certainly didn't buy back stock from GM, those numbers look like the stats I found on a forum. GM sold its 49% stake in Isuzu but bought back 12%.

  • @mak450 Correct. Which isn't a bad thing, it's actually good they have them contracted out in my opinion haha. And wiki Isuzu just as one brief example. They went under reorganization because of financial difficulties, and re purchased stocks from GM. And they still have a couple joint ventures active.

  • @Zinizzle Take a ford. just be sure someone is there with a Chevy when it is broke down on the side of the road. Found On Road Dead. Fix Or Repair Daily

  • @HCVguy93 Hahahathat's real funny, because last time I checked, GMs cheap government assisted junk, could never go over 100,000 miles. So buy a Chevy ur gonna need that warranty. Then what happens after is up to you buddy. And if you haven't checked, Ford is now the most dependable US auto maker rated by consumer reports.

  • @Zinizzle I don't care what you think of Chevy, or my interests. I KNOW FORD IS CRAP AS A FACT! Everyone I know who has ever owned a ford in the past hated it and now drives a Silverado. I don't mean to get into a serious argument but come on. But yeah I guess I don't know why my friend's 2004 Silverado has well over 100,000 miles on it. While another friend of mine's ford didn't make it to 50,000 before he was sick of repairs and traded it that the Chevy dealer. Smart decision he made.

  • @HCVguy93 that's your opinion but I have 2 chevys in the garage right now, a impala with 104k on it and the head gasket is blown. And the dealer is telling me my 06 HHR is already needing a new tranny at 60k. But when my 94 Toyota 4runner has 336k on it and nothing done it makes me wonder. Also my F150 95 straight 6 has 213k on it, way better then any of my Chevy trucks.

  • @Zinizzle I am not going to argue with you about the Toyota. But your opinion is your opinion, and mine is mine. I will always be a Chevy guy.

  • @Zinizzle

wow you're an idiot i have a camaro 240,000+ miles on it still running like a beast nothing rebuilt on it. on the other hand my dads escort with 30,000 miles a piston snapped.

  • @okitsugu hhah wow ur an idiot, ur comparing apples to oranges.

  • @Zinizzle

Oh im sorry would chevys pos Lumina be more compareable? 3 of my friends own em two of them over 200,000+ miles and one over 300,000 miles.

  • @okitsugu What was done, besides for a new tranny and rebuilt engine. Everyone knows GMs head gaskets are the first to go, Then the tranny. If not that's hard to believe, but great for them (:

  • @Zinizzle

If you wanna talk head gaskets I got one word for ya: Vulcan. Then there was that little issue with the water pump, and the cooling fan...

  • thats semi is not optimus prime. But badass video!

  • Man that Semi is badass! is it real?

  • @CDTbossy Easier and probably cheaper to film it that to photoshop it in.

  • @gogmorgoaway Yes of course? But I have never seen a truck that cool before, looks like Optimus Prime from transformers.

  • @CDTbossy Well, GM did provide the vehicles for the Transformers movies... It wouldn't surprise me if it was borrowed from the set.
