It's a total fail concept of the future.... it might be awesome back at the 90's competing with the symbians phone .... But now its full of fail...

1. Not portable since every task requires a Jacket

2. It looks worst than a 6630 symbian OS and UI

3. How can they compete with the upcoming Lumix Phone or Altek Phone (13MP phones) with some plastic jacket? I dont think its posible for them to just create a DSLR jacket and sell it at a cheap price..

Sorry but this seems pointless, you buy a little black box (the phone part?) and then buy "jackets" that do different tasks. How much is this going to end up costing?!

I have a phone that has GPS/Camera/MP3/Video/Games etc.

How many "Jackets" am I going to need? Will I have to carry them all in a little bag in case I see a photo opportunity while listening to my MP3's and then realise I'm going to be late for dinner...

if nokia/samsug/sony erricson can add a camera, mp3 player, gps, and games to a single phone - modu can do that in a single jacket...

Besides, the camera you get, and the quality of mp3/video playing in "regular" phones are not as good as a digital camera, dvd players, etc...and the modu lets u get it with simple small jackets.

the idea is other, additional options the modu provides.

Yea,m you can say whatever you want, this is Revolution and a good one at that. It's a great idea but it all depends on the priceof all the jackets and mates. Otherwise, all phones with multifunctions (camera mp3 player etc etc) are very tiring and sometimes all you need is a simple Phone. Turning it to other devices is magic! Especially when the devices are of high quality. I for one love the night mate, such a wonderful gadget...

the only way for success is that all peaces separatly are very cheap. If not it is better to buy one cheap small phone and one advanced phone. I doubt that this can compete with the big companies.

If you would go to run, you'll use the sport jacket or only the modu itselfs.

They basically take "the engine" out of a mobile phone and now they want us to slip it back into a jacket which looks like an old Ericsson T610. This looks like the reinvention of the deep plate. Listen carefully to him, he totally fails to give one viable reason for using this thing. He invented the USB flash drive, but hasn't he heard of Bluetooth?
