Its basically like an inverted row except your legs are in the air and not on the floor. Basically doing front lever rows without being able to hold the front lever.
niceee. you should try clapping pull ups. this one guy has a video doing it and its amazingly hard. I can do around 35 pullups, aint amazing but i have alot of unnecessary weight on me but I could still do it. & I could only do TWO of the clapping pullups. You literally have to pull yourself up far enough past the bar to clap, basically jumping with your hands. Its mad hard, you should see how many you can do, im saying this to elliot. I believe you can do a copious amount of them.
This is essentially a sternum pull up - it is done explosively, requires you to lean back and touch your sternum to the bar, and hits the entire back. It
he's swinging his feet forward to get in position, then he's pulling his bodyweight in an almost barbell row fashion. This works your back, this works on power, and yes, it's mafuckin Elliot. WINNING
i tried this because i figured it would be easier but its not even easy to get your legs that high without jumping, let alone pull up to your chest. very impressive
These are also known as sternum pull ups, and doing them requires - and develops - real-world lat strength, especially given his size. You have to own some explosive realestate in your lats to get that height. The ability to do at least ten of these is considered by some to be a prequisite for doing muscle-ups.
why is it that everyone thinks people only train for muscular hypertrophy? ie bodybuilding style training, Elliott isn't doing this to get a big back, I'm pretty sure he's doing this to develop more explosive strength and endurance.
But if your goal is just to get a huge muscular back then maybe you should look at something like "Mr Olympia camp" and not "Strength Camp"
I would prefer a physique like this and have a physique closer to this than a body builder in my weight category (210 right now anyways, motherfuckers are all anorexic looking in my weight category)
it's explosive functional training, retards... For such an explosive movement, not much momentum is being used.. All of you haters, Elliot could probably pick you up and snap you in half, if he wasn't such a nice guy
@MadsBille no way. weight lifter muscles are so big that they cant punch straight cause there arms and shoulders and lats are way to overdeveloped. also those overbuffed homos need so mutch oxygen for there muscles that if they fight for more that 30 seconds they gas out. there is no functional prupose for that stuff. im a lean 175 and would wup any roided up juice monkey any day.
keep roiding bitches it wont make your dick bigger.
@ghns1133 you said people who are weight lifters can't punch.... brock is pretty massive and its pretty clear he's hard as fuck. yeah not the best fighter but he's still fucking hard.

that doesnt seem like it does anything. looks like a pull up for beginners because they have to swing their body to get up.

He has got to be on the shorter side. There is no way a man his size but 6 foot or taller could do this like he does.
