That was not a fair test. All those detergents need to be HE (high efficiency) for use in front loaders, and only the Tide was - which is most likely why it worked. Other detergents will produce too much suds and cushion the washing action (prevent the clothing from slapping the tub)
Also, that washer will wash things well without ANY detergent at all, if you choose the sanitary cycle which heats the water.
I'm not fooled by that demonstration. It's not accurate.
Perhaps the Gain would have performed better if you would have used the same cycle as with Tide and All...
