Very nice. These would fit into a Fallout universe just fine. I agree about the "Nerf" Logo though, you should have filled it in with putty and maybe etched something else over it. A gear shape or something perhaps?

that being said, the only thing to make them better would have been to sand off the nerf logo. i just did a steampunk mod on a maverick, and it only too me a few minutes. also, the sanded plastic has a really nice effect when you spray-paint it.

I think you've done a fantastic job with the paint effects it really does look aged and distressed.

my only problem is that steampunk doesn't always have to be old , it's fine if that's what look you were going for but it seemed odd with the new leather grips. aging leather is really easy and it would have only taken another hour or so, it just seems a shame considering how much effort you guys put into them...... but I still love them AWSOME!!!

I've got a gun coming through from ebay and i need to make it steampunk but atm i only have spray paints (metallic and base colours) available, i need some instruction on what else to use (tools, materials etc) and HOW to use them.

if you want to get rid of the nerf logo you could just use a electic sander which takes likes 1min or you can just keep cotting it with paint till its gone and the guns are realy damn cool just lose the leather grip.

They look great, the only thing I would suggest is somehow removing/covering the NERF logo on the smaller gun. I used the cap off of a pill bottle and a few watch parts and it turned out really well and was a lot less of a hassle than sanding it off
