can anyone tell me why it burns in pulses and it never gows up and gives a precise thrust like the one from 1:14?

Use a 6:4 ratio by size of potassium nitrate and sugar . Put the two 'chemicals' in a blender and blend until it's like flour.

Yes, that's what i do however i make smaller rockets so i use tea spoons. But make sure you blend them with something like a coffee grinder otherwise it will not work. If you want to make powerfull rocket fuel the add 1/4 of the total fuel of black powder. If you know what i mean.

I'm not sure but i highly recomend getting some sort of blender. This saves alot of time cooking everything, i've never tried solid rocket fuels. If you make black powder then i'm guessing you have some sort of ball mill? Just leave the fuel overnight in the ball mill. Shouldn't do anything.

Salpeter/sugar fuel doesn't have to be that fine.. I just use my mortal and pestle for a few minutes and it works fine.

Yeah, but my fuel burns exactly as fast as I want it, so I'm not gonna make it any finer. Also, I'm not that rich xD

Good point, i sometimes add abit of black powder (homemade) to it, just to make a trail and make it faster. £20 coffee grinder, cheapest i could find. Didn't want to spend to much considering it could blow up with the things i'm mixing.
