I heard the song 'Broken Fingers' on Bob Harris Country a couple of weeks back, it's the most beautiful and moving thing I've heard for years and makes me go weepy and I don't know why.... this is pretty close to it.
I heard the song 'Boxes' from the album 'Pretty World' on Bob Harris' Country on Radio 2 last night...9second track on this video) I have to get the album now... FANTASTIC MUSIC!!!!
I got this album as a gift from ITunes and must have listened to it a hundred times already. It's brilliant the way the sweet poetry of the words contrasts with the poignant sadness of the music.
A Pretty World indeed to have such artists in it. Thank you Mr. Baker
touring the UK in September 2010, only just been made aware of Sam Baker.
