i have info about Transformers: the ride. It will be something like the spider man ride in Orlando. The one in Hollywood will be coming out sometime in 2012. The building that the ride will be in is supposed to look like the NEST hq. i am expecting for this ride to be a simulator because the ride is inside.

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be like the Spider-Man ride at IOA in Orlando. I used to work there and know they brought Michael Bay to the park to ride it and see what he thought.

Sadly it will not be coming to Orlando since they just opened the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and don't want a ride that is the same as Spider-Man.

It's official! Universal in Singapore and Hollywood are getting "Transformers" ride based on the movies directed by Michael Bay. The ride is similar to "The Amazing Adveutres of Spiderman" in Island of Adveuture in Orlando, Florida. It may answer the question of what will happen to the Marvel section of the Orlando park, since Disney bought the out in August 2009. It will appear in Singapore first in early 2011, and in Hollywood in summer 2011 or 2012. so coming in singapore first

@djherodude02 yes it will be on the lower lot in Hollywood, i don't know about Singapore or Orlando. and the ride will be a series of screens and projections that are everywhere around you as you ride on a track through the building

the reson it is comming out in 2011 for a few resons. 1: they had to wait far michel bay to write tf 3, 2:they started in 2009 whitch means it is going to be. no MUST be amzing.3: IT BETTER BE GOOD.

I know director Michael Bay was displeased of this attraction when it was first announced because he says that the ride developers don't know how to tell the story at all. So, he had no choice but to jump on board this attraction and revise it his way.

Which I think works out well. The developers are ignorant of how the story should be told. Only Michael Bay can get the job done...

@Counterstrike818 It's a ride that is on a track system but it combine 3D effects and im pretty sure it will contain different screens that are around the building. So it combines a roller coaster type track and effects and 3D so yes both a normal dark ride and simulator in my case. :)

The Transformers attraction that is being built will not be an outdoor roller coaster. Instead, it will be a dark ride with 3-D, high-definition projected images, 4-D sensory and special effects, and large-scale animatronic characters, and it is tentatively scheduled to open in 2011. The ride most similar to what we have planned would be the Spiderman attraction in Orlando.

I'm disapointed that Universal Orlando aint getting a Transformers Ride maybe in 2012 Universal Orlando will do away with Twister and Put it in The Twister Building as well as shut down Jaws and install The Madagascar ride there using at Universal Studio's Singapore and Retheme Amity to Madagascar Transformers would be awsome in Orlando so would Madagascar Summer 2012 would be the biggest year at Universal Studio's Orlando

Bad news. It was supposed to be closed on Labor Day, but it's STILL open. I heard they're not even going to start construction until next year, which means the opening date has been bumped back to 2012. :'( Unfortuneately, I think this is true because the Singapore version was supposed to open next year, but that's been bumped back to 2011. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

The Backdraft Ride will close on Labor Day 2009. The Transformers Ride will replace it in 2011. The Transformers Ride will include 3D footage and anamatronics. They (Wikipedia) didn't say what type of ride it is going to be. Hopefully this ride will be FUN!!!

they're actually thinking about pushing it back for a 2012 opening, due to costs to rebuild from the backlot fire last year. that's a rumor from the inside. i used to work there and i have friends who work at Backdraft( an attraction that's being replaced by transformers) so if there's any new news i'll post another comment, why not.
