I have been a church organist since 1990 and played for both "gospel" churches (of course never have been a "C.O.G.I.C" organist) and now I play in an american baptist church.. I often find "soloists" dont do well for "congregational playing " and vise-versa, I spent years practicing so I could do both! Are you a "a hammond only organist" or do you play other organs?
This is great. My son is 20 and plays a hammond with the leslie speaker and is great like you, I could sit and listen to him for hours and he NEVER had a lesson in life. Did you have lessons? His style is a little different from yours but you are both GREAT! EXCELLENT! You can tell that like my son, you have fun with it. That makes a world of difference.

You take an amasing sound out of the hammond....and it's not only about your chords and scales improvisation skills...it's also about the knowledge of the hammond drawbars and leslie controllers......GREAT!
