My friend and I tried and failed to make icing over the summer. We just kept adding powdered sugar and milk until we ran out. Then we went to the store and my friend was about to start looking for more powdered sugar before I reminded her that actual icing is sold in a small cylindrical container. :) ... good story?? I thought so. Also I enjoy re-watching Dan's videos :)

You have to whip butter and powder sugar together and then whip small increments of milk and powder sugar alternating to get frosting Also your frosting will melt if you put it on right when the cakes get out of the oven

easy frosting is just butter and powdered sugar, its either 1 part butter to 2 parts sugar or the other way around :/

just a few things that might make baking easier for you in the future:

1) it's about 10 million times easier to mix things if you cream the butter first

2) cracking eggs into a separate bowl prevents messes

3) good icing is mostly butter and sugar, if someone tells you differently, they are lying
