Unfortunately, Campbell is wrong. Cash for Clunkers is bad for the economy in the long-run.
Dealers that specialize in used cars are suffering because the government is buying up the cheap cars for $4,500 each and then destroying them.
Charities that accept used car donations are in trouble.
