  • Teresa - I wanted to thank you so much for this demonstration. I am almost done with an incredible blanket using this technique. I wish I could show you the picture. • @TheLulufrog There is an annotation link in the video to the flower.

  • Just out of curiosity, would changing the stitches from hdc to sc, and qc to trc make a drastic change in the appearance?

  • @MsMrmr100 You are welcome.

  • This was too hard for me Teresa so do you think I could just make a traditional granny square and then attach a separate flower? would that work? thanks for all your great techniques.

  • @cs9295 Yes, it will work to sew the flower to a traditional granny square.

  • ok i found it :)

  • I want to know how you made the flower, do you have a video which shows how to make it?

  • so if I go one more around it will br 7"

  • @kristinel4christ That will depend on the size hook and yarn you are using. It may be close.

  • what size is the square?

  • @kristinel4christ around 6 inches.

  • I downloaded the loopy granny square but can`t find it on my computer .don`t know if I got it.any instruction as how I find it?

  • @cmassre There should be some instructions with Google Checkout. Each computer is going to download to a different folder. Depending on what I am downloading, my download may go to the last folder I used or it may go to my default download folder.

  • @tjw1963 I still don`t have it I think the pop up blocker would not let it load but I was charged can you resend it?

  • @cmassre You need to go back to Google Checkout. I do not handle the purchases.

  • Hello Teresa! Thank you very much for the videos and to share their skills with the world! I am Brazilian and loved the "loopy granny square flower". I have made several squares, but I'm having trouble unite them. The best way would be like you teach in Flat Braid video? I intend to make a quilt for my bed.

Can you give me some tips?

    Thank you very much!

    kisses!

And sorry for my bad english .... :(

  • Hi it's me again I just wanted to let you know that I had just made my very first granny square in a fine white yarn I'm going to make a bag with each granny square in light blue white and dark blue each I do hope that I'll turn out pretty if I want to add a flower like the one you made can I make it and attach it later if I do that how would I attach it?

  • You can make the basic granny square and then sew a flower on later.

  • Oh my gosh! You are great. I am married to a military member and in Germany right now. I have been wanting to make a blanket for my little girl but had no idea how to start it. You are awesome and would make a great teacher. Thank you!

  • You are welcome. :)

  • I have been crocheting and knitting for years but have learnt loads from you thank you xxx

  • You are welcome. :)

  • Hi i love this.. but would it work if i made the whole square with the double crochet rather than the quadruple and made a less fancy one?

  • You can do double crochet if you would like.

  • very poor video; donno if its the connection or the bad video itself...really needs a boost of speed.

  • I am sorry that you have a poor connection. The speed you receive the video is on your end so you may need to change Internet Service Providers if you want something faster. There is also a "watch in high quality" on the bottom right of the video.

  • Can you have the details on how to make the square out in details? PLEASE??? (^_^)

  • Can i use the Crochet Seed Stitch Flower instead ?

  • You can use any flower that you want to use. You can mix and interchange patterns, square, flower, etc., as much as you want to. :)

  • thank you. for taking time off from your busy day to show us how to make things with crochet. I was wondering if you can demonstrate how to make a abc baby blanket I really would like to learn that, thank you so much.

  • You are welcome. :)

  • I have self taught myself how to crochet and with your help I've been able to do a granny square, the simple one, but this one is way over my head. Maybe I'll get to that level one day. Thank you so much, your vids helped!! :O)

  • You are welcome. :)

  • Thank you!!

  • thank you so much i just make the square. i change just the last 2 rows. but the flower looks so nice. i am so happy with it . you make a lot of us ladys very happy.a big hug and God bless you thanks so much.

  • You are welcome. :)

  • im still confuse as to how to start the square, i just finish the loopy flower but cant really tell what is that your doing in the first seconds =( need help!

  • I am doing 4 chain 7 loops around the post of the previous single crochets. At timecode :41 the written instructions are written in the video.

  • Thank you for taking the time to show us how to do this. My mom taught me to crotchet, and I love the therapeutic value. Your tutorial was much easier than reading the instructions.

    Dr. Judy

  • You are welcome.

  • WOW you inspire me as i watch the loopy flower square evolving in front of me. i think to myself, i will make this beautiful masterpiece, here in australia victoria melbourne it is 11pm, time to sleep, but as i awake i will start your masterpiece and make it my own. thankyou. :)Mon
