@bucky468 Here Comes the Night and Under My Thumb were 2 huge covers they released that were huge in Canada. Tin Soldier was an original that was big. They had other good tunes that may or may not have charted nationwide but got plenty of air play in the west.

@bucky468 I lived in Regina, which was their home base, so their singles got plenty of air play there. Don't know if they charted nationwide with this song but Under My Thumb and Tin Soldier certainly did. They had a couple of albums which were in the charts but I don't know how high they got. Under Heaven, Over Hell and Meanwhile Back in Paris were their 2 biggest, I think.

Heart recorded their first album at Mushroom Studios in Vancouver...but they are American citizens.

I think it needs to be based on passports and where they live, not where albums are recorded....otherwise Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Metallica, the Cult and Motley Crue etc. would be considered Canadian.

Hard to believe, but hardly anyone in America has ever heard of these guys. Luckily I grew up in northern NY and could listen to CHOM as a kid. This is one band we here in the States totally missed out on!
