you could have selected a little, and you can adjust the width and height of the picture without getting a picture of which the face is wider or thinner than the actual face.

You've probably done the layer mask tool on the body picture with the head picture behind it. If this is the case, put your body picture BEHIND the face picture, and apply the layer mask to the HEAD picture.

Interesting. There this method is much different from several others that use the clone stamp method, but it gets better results.

One question though. Why do you use the layer mask to get the bit of the head you want instead of the magnetic lasso?
