  • @cxbra My BTG is 8.34. But in this video the car only had 280 HP in the Nürburgring videos. Later that year it got 375 and the next year I was on the Nürburgring was with Toda Spec B cams and +9000 rpm and +400 HP.

    The cars was also upgraded with Wilwood calibers and Alcon 302mm rotors.

  • @CharlieBelton94 I normaly don't time my laps on Nürburgring when I'm down there, but Nokia timing and videos show a BTG time on 8:34.

    These videos from Nürburgring was the first time on Nürburgring with the Rotrex Supercharger and with around 280 HP. Later that year it got 375 HP and the year after with new Toda Spec B cams and more rpm and boost, I got past the +400 HP mark.

  • thats some good driving mate. I know the nordschleife very well so i can see it. and get some better tyres. I run 245/16 on front 225/17 out back to reduce under-steer on my FF and it works very well indeed.

  • Im sorry, but there is no way this car is making 375 HP in this video. My best guess would be around 300 hp, and with your cam probably 330.

  • nice integra well done i prefer alot a supercharger rather than a turbo for street daily use it s more reliable , i wish to install one in my jdm lightweight itr but dont know nothing from where to start and what parts do i need :S anyway well done again !!

    Maybe if you read more info it tells you he put toda spec b cams in and increased the rev to get 400bhp. There is no way that is 400bhp.

    My old clio 182 used to hit 150mph no problem, this is more like 260 throughout the video.

  • @AndrewStrang pay attention to his throttle response and where he's shifting...I better driver would really be able to run that car...no to mention the fact that its still a Honda and its fwd(that's not helping with this style of racing whatsoever). Still a very nice job with the Rotrex, kudos to the OP!

  • It's a EUDM (Europe) original Honda Integra Type-R 190 HP.

  • I heard that the rotrex kits spin clockwise, where as all D series and B series motors spin counter clockwise. how did you overcome this with the rotrex? did you install a different turbine? or did you do something else?

  • Kanon at se der er noget ordentlig tuning i Danmark! Bor i Irland hvor folk ikke er bange for at fedte rundt med deres biler, men selv her har jeg ikke stødt på en 375+ hestes ITR. Har du selv "bygget" rotrex installationen, eller er der et værksted i DK der laver ordentligt arbejde?

    Jeg har selv bygget det hele og umiddelbart er der ikke nogle værksteder i DK, som kan lave sådanne et setup og man også kan betale det.

    Det var mit første tuningsprojekt og har taget rigtig mange timer. Har siden bygget en del trykladet biler, men er kun Honda at jeg roder med.

  • I used a double sided v-drive belt and the crank pulley runs on one side and the supercharger on the other side og the belt.

    It wasen't easy, but it works very good.

    I can't post a link here, so I'll send you a mail with links to pictures from my build, so you can see how it's made.

  • I had some problems with my IC and that day when I went to the track, I have tried another IC and the it went from 0,6 bar to 1 bar, but we haven't tuned that area of the map.

    So to be sure that I could see the AFR and Boost pressure, I duct taped the dials to the dashboard.

    Later on it was of couse made the right way. I cut 2 holes in the sun flap and the put the wires in the a-pillor. So it was hidden until I put down the sun flap and then has easy acces to the dials and a nice clean look.

    C15, 30 OR 38

  • It's a C30-94 and it was maxed out around 400 HP. So if you want more power, go for the C38

  • Yes, it's a Euro Type-R so it has LSD from the factory.

  • If you took thats resonator out and the CAT, re ran 3 inch exahaust. Id bet you gain 7-10 whp

  • And a LOT of more noise, so I wouldn't be able to drive on Nürburgring and other tracks, because it would be way to load.

    If I wantet 10 whp more, I could just rev the engine 150 rpm more.

  • If you read the text I also write 260-375 HP. It's clips from the 1st year I build the cars and it took me some time to find out that my IC had bad internal flow, but after I changed the IC it got 100 HP more.

    The year after it was upgraded with Toda Spec B cams, Eagle cam wheels and more rpm and boost and it had +400 HP. Very fun @ Nürburgring

  • As you can see on the video there were still room for the Power steering, but it's had to be moved a little, because of the wider belt for the supercharger (6 ribbed).

    Later on I removed the PS, to make room for at better belt tensioner for the supercharger.

  • Is that your AFR on the right hand side... I hope that guage is wrong cause if it isnt you are running HELLA rich. Pull some of that fuel man, 12:1 would be good, hell even leaner if you wanted, SC isnt bad for detonation the combustion temperatures are lower than turbo systems.

  • well its a rotrex. its literally a compressor side of a turbo driven by multiplier gears, just like a paxton, but the company rotrex claims that its more efficient.

    Jackson Racing superchargers are switching to Rotrex, and i dont think they're selling Eaton types (roots)...well not in their new website.

    try going to their site...i feel like purchasing one.

  • More rpm = more boost.

    On my setup i have 7 psi @ 5000 rpm and 16 psi@9000 rpm after I got Toda Spec B cams + valvetrain. (On this video it's 8500 rpm and stock ITR cams).

  • Have you thought about putting a wrap on your headers to cool your intake charge? I'm sure that's the only spot you could fit the intake but the heat is probably killing your power.

  • I use CP 9,8:1 pistons and with a ITR cylinder head the CR is 9,6:1

  • what the size of the c30-94 pulley you use.

  • It's a 80mm pulley and with the crankpulley @ 9000 rpm the Rotrex turns about 105.000 rpm on the impeller and that gives 15-16 psi of boost on this engine.

  • The Rotrex supercharger, Rotrex oil cooler custom bracket, custom belt tensioner, custom pulleys are $4500. There are many more parts you need, before it works (Intercooler, piping, build engine, engine management, injectors, fuel pump and much more).

    I just got the Rotrex C30-94 supercharger and then custom made the rest of the things myself.

  • I use a 1" Rotrex BOV, but it could use a bigger one or mayby one more.

  • It was on street tires I had understeering. On Nürburgring I use Toyo R888 tires.

    I have a Tein HA suspension and with this supercharger setup it's very easy to drive.

    On small tracks I still but understeering, because of FWD and +400 HP, but hispeed tracks like Nürburgring this car is perfect and there are a lot who gets very surpriced, when a ITR overtakes them on the Ring.

    since K series Swaps are like everywhere around here, and after i saw that TTS civic with the Rotrex, i was intrigued.

    plan is to find an EG9 and swap it with a K24 from the Acura TSX, then i'll buy the Rotrex kit from Jackson Racing. but thats in the future.

  • I have an Accord Euro R CL7,Your gettin into the shit that im gettin in2 and cant get any answers?, i know that theres a supercharger for the CL9 2.4 TSX the same as a 2.4 ivtec accord but if u come accros anything on your travels to supercharge a Euro R let me know? Ihavent seen one yet and i know Euro R isnt available in America but there has to be a safe way? Let me know hao you get on? Cheers

  • well true there is no Euro R in the US but we have the Acura TSX...it looks like the euro r (except the 2009...acura is concentrating in luxury than sporty)...but it does not have that euro r finesse...

    try asking the guys in TTS they're from britain..with a 400=hp EP3 Civic

    they might answer your question.
