I read some of these comments. i gotta say, this band has some of the two most talented live singers out there. John Nolan wrote most of TBS's first album (check the composer info) and it's GOING to be different than this cause it's not about the same things. and this video rocks cause it's got that whole old feel and tons of john's face ;)

I like Indie music.. it can be free. Straylight Run has worked hard to make their sound... i love it its pure and pretty good stuff here, and i like bands with small fan bases cuz most bands are better that way

MIchelle and John's harmony pretty much rocks. a beautiful song. that's how I think of Straylight Run -- the beauty of their songs.

its great that they are not popular. Thats why John Nolan got out of Taking Back Sunday. little do people know he was the main reason for the kickass album Tell all your Friends.

Fall Out Boy was a great band until they get famous. Happens with most bands. Lets hope straylight Run stays RIGHT WHERE THEY WANT and wants to play what they like and not what a record label needs them to play just to get sales.

Straylight Run does not need any popularity. They could if they wanted to but the music would lack everything good.

Before FallOutBoy was popular they were great. They were not gay at all, now they are just embarassing. Just like soo many other bands.

They used to play Existentialism on Prom Night on Fuse, and I saw it aired once on MTV2. They also did an MTVU thing one year.

I think it really depends on what kind of music you like more, not that either band is better than the other. I followed John and Sean to SLR because I'm in lovvve with John's voice and to me, their lyrics seem to have a greater significance than TBS's.... bt I'm definitely not hating on TBS.
