I got the backwards compatible. I MADE SURE I GOT THAT ONE, to make sure before i bought it, i put in Socom 2 and it played then i put in Crash Bandanna in (ps1) and it played. It came with a lot of ports i know that. but its the bw com.

I'm not sure but I love my ps3. Never once errored or freeze, except once on the Socom Game but I looked it up and it was the games fault.

Mine's never had either frozed... There were times that I have it running for about a week straight without turning it off (involved in the Folding @ home program). Operate that during my work week and play it when I am off.

that is how the new PSP will be like, PSP 4000 will have a QWERTY keyboard and will not have the UMD drive... there has been a discovery of certain games that was released on UMD, being re-released as digital downloads.

hope that they will do EVERY game that was ever released on the PS brand...

Because possibly, the nex teneration consoles (PS4, Xbox720 (or Xbox 3)... might be a Digital downloads only systems... just saying.

The next update that I want for the PS3 is the custom soundtracks feature.. because whenever I play Madden and/or NFL Head Coach, I want to hear the NFL Films Music that is played during the highlight reel.
