the second mousepad looks like mine, just the think is that i bought mine for $3. it's the same quality , i've tested with my mouse in the store which i bought it from... Razer second mousepad sucks, buy mine gembird gaming pad....
@AngelBeats14 True Lol, Mine Looks Like Crap Now. If You Look At Fatal1ty, He Always Uses Flat Mousepad With A Large Surface, So He Can Move His Entire Forearm To Maximize Precision, But When You Use Wrist Pad Your Movement Is Only Limited To Your Hand Thusly Reducing Efficiency.
It's made for things like gaming, they use special weaves on the cloth pads, and they spend lots of time developing different surfaces for hard surfaces.
Many people ask why gaming gear costs so much...
Does a professional golfer use a $2 putter? Do professional tennis players use $10 bargain bin rackets? Nope.
Depends on your in-game sensitivity, windows sensitivity, grip style, personal preference, mouse, driver settings, windows resolution, and a few things I forget to mention...
well what he didnt explain was diferent sides are used for diferent things, the speed side would be used for first person shooters as u need a quik and fast movement, whilst the grip side would be used for somthing like world of warcraft and stratergy games pretty much non fps games.
acuracy gamingaaaaaaaas in COunter stgrike? or any fps game? well then ud use the speed mouse for a fast reaction time. or accuracy as in other stuff non fps ud use controlll
the erm razer sphex is a brand new release. its the thinnest gaming mousepad on the market i think. cost $15 dollars. you might want to try it. but i cant buy it atm because im from UK. and it isnt on ebay or amazon yet and i dont want to pay for P&P from europe razer.
A question for chanaman, which mouse pad of those 2 is better in case of dust, coz i live in a dusty place, which of those two gets less dust with time...and if the exactmat works good with the deathadder and mx518?thank you..
Have you ever tried Func Archetype 1030? And if you had what did you think of it in comparison to Razer Destructor? I have it and thinking of upgrading to the latter.
My city sucks -.- and in portugal websides like Fnac,Worten etc... i only found Fnac that only sells "Deathadder","Habu","Extractmat" -.- i think i need to go Lisbon (capital) to buy Lyconsa(keyboard) and destructor... 1 last Question witch is de difrence to use Deathadder with ExtractMat and Desctructor ???
Dude, it is really hard to understand what your asking. its exactmat not extractmat and its Lycosa not lyconsa. For your last question you ask what the difference playing with a deathadder on a exactmat or destructor, they're both responsive and track very well. Destructor is not aluminum but it has a gunmetal finish on it.
Hey, i have the razer mantis speed pad and a copperhead but everytime i use this combination of copperhead and mantis the my mouse cursor is skipping like hell over the screen when i move the mouse on it but it doesnt skip by using a cheap plasitc pad O.o but there is so much resistence x/
on a white paper i have the same problem but i dont know why
I have Razer Death Adder + ExactMat mouse pad, and it's very cool in gaming! BUT! If you have temperature differences between your hand and the pad your hand will sweat (and you will), the sweat interferes with the mouse, you have to wipe it all the time. It's a little bit annoying when you are gaming.
I personally have been debating between the exactmat and a steelseries qck. I think imma go with the exactmat for a change. It looks pretty sick from what i've seen in your video. So its aluminum.... does it hurt your hand resting on it since its a hard service compared to a foamy pad?
i really liked the looks of this mousepad so i went to best buy to check it out. i saw another called the rocketfish that seemed nearly identical. it is aluminum with a speed and control side. all it lacks is the wrist rest which i would not use anyway. it was half the price of the exactmat (20 bucks)
Why do i have to be a professional to buy stuff that i want to try out? If its useless then why do professionals buy it then if it was useless. I do game though if thats the question
Don't get me werong, you can get whatever you want and I wouldn't care less. But honestly if you think about it, Why would you actually need multiple mousepads that all cost +$40?
Different surfaces has it advantage, just like tired on a car, your not going to ride on the wheels only are you? you need good treads. If you buy cheap treads your not going to get good traction, if you buy good treads then you have the best traction.
juz got the mantis its fckin awesome! well u can call me a caveman but i can tell the control version is juz fantastic..nice mousepad! Huge surface to glide ur mice over. Gudbye to my old mcdonald mousepad XD
I have a G5 and have been using it for 3 years, I've had an exactmat for about 7 months, I love the control side and think it does actually wear down the feet of the mouse MORE then a cloth mousepad would. My G5 just died today while playing some CSS, the laser engine is wearing out and is laggy and jumpy. Time to get a Razer Lachesis. Also, the control side can get very dirty very easily, so you'll have to wash it alot.
Razer gamer eh? I rarely buy multiple product types from a single manufacturer. If I want a mouse I go to Razer, if I want a solid mousepad I go to Ulti-mat, cloth pad Corepad, Keyboard either Apple or Logitech, speakers I go to Altec Lansing, etc. That's just my personal preference though, I also don't screw around with Windows any more since Steam is being ported over to Linux and I prefer my customized Ubuntu anyway, and my older games (ones actually worth playing) don't have problems on it.
Better take the time to learn how to use it and WINE first. I have a razer mantis and a diamondback 3g, really works really good at low-sensitivity cs playing :D The exactmat (my friend got one) sounds too much :( We we lan together you hear "scratch, scratch, "metallic" BAM, BAM" Kinda annoying :P Mantis FTW ^^

Okay, I have a regular, cloth, mousepad that I got from Cafe Press. I've been thinking about going for a gaming mousepad, however, all the reviews I've listened to are just comparing them to other gaming mousepads. How much better is this than just a regular cloth mousepad, and is it worth it to spend the extra money on?
Have you tried both though? Because I saw you comparing these nice mousepads, but what I really want to know is if there is a major difference between a regular mousepad and a high end gaming mousepad. Because honestly, when I game, I've never thought, "Damn sticky mousepad!" But if there's a real difference in gaming, then I'd be interested in buying one.
yes i have, i had the mantis for awhile then i went exactmat and the exactmat and destructor have a more fluid movement of the mouse while the cloth related mouse pads have a bit of resistance
I have a lachesis mouse nd my brother has a deathadder, and they are in my opinion, the 2 best mouses I have used. I am going to either get the destructor for my lachesis or exactmat, i dont know but im uding my alioenware mousepad that came withmy alienware right now. I bought an alienware laptop a year and a haf ago. Now I use my custom build PC LOL.
Do you play games like counter-strike.. umhh.. i have a razer deathadder too, but i use it with a qck heavy, i am like.. low sensitivity.. what pad is better

How much better is this than just a regular cloth mousepad, and is it worth it to spend the extra money on?

To me it would be worth it. Now thats just my opinion

So if I buy one of these, I will notice a difference? And if so, which one would you suggest?

probably the destructor

I have a lachesis mouse nd my brother has a deathadder, and they are in my opinion, the 2 best mouses I have used. I am going to either get the destructor for my lachesis or exactmat, i dont know but im uding my alioenware mousepad that came withmy alienware right now. I bought an alienware laptop a year and a haf ago. Now I use my custom build PC LOL.
