You are right,but this tune is from the Mississipi artist Skip James and played in his style.The harmonica doesn't work too well-best as a guitar piece.
Wiggins does a masterful job at keeping the harmonica pretty simple on this, and sings a little back up. Honestly, this is not my favorite version of the song-- but, it is really good nonetheless!
I saw them do this at the Bluebird Folk Festival, where Phil just accompanied by humming. It was one of the most moving performances I've ever seen. Compare it to Skip James on his 1960's recording: Blues from the Delta. John Cephas is a preeminent teacher of Skip James and Delta Blues, as well as the living legacy of Virginia's Piedmont Blues style.

Nope. This is Piedmont Blues-- they are Virginia. (tho' I think Wiggins, the harp player, was born in Alabama).
