I have flown many times from Edinburgh airport to and from London Heathrow and London Gatwick aiports. Edinburgh is tiny compared Heathrow and Gatwick.

Some good views of the departure lounge extension which is well underway at Edinburgh ... should be impressive when it's all finished.

Yeah, It's a shame though because it was all boarded up when we were departing the other day which means that the only view of the runway is from the long connecting corridor to the east apron. I agree, it will be good when it is finished from what the photos suggest
