  • Throw down something from Double Fantasy! I want to do some of those songs on a 325 but it's taking me forever to effing save up for one :S

  • @Zebonka you might want to keep an eye on ebay around Christmas time for a 325. Some people are forced to sell their guitars off to pay credit card bills and this is the best time to pick up a bargain. Just trying to help an aspiring Rick faqn get his wish!!

  • Haha, cheers. Been stalking on eBay, the magic number seems to be around 3500 at the moment which is just too high. I mean ... I love these guitars, but that's just too damn much. Still, hoping to get lucky sometime this year. Anything up to 2 grand'll make me happy. Happy New Year, either way!

  • @Zebonka There is a c64 on there for approx 2800 which might interest you. I have one (325c64 JG) and if you don't mind the smaller frets then they are pretty good. Some have a small buzz. Another contact is Pick of the Ricks. The guy who runs this shop has been doing it for ages and is preety good to deal with. Best wishes for the New Year man - good luck and happy hunting

  • Love the look of C58 but love the sound of C64

  • la mejor es la Rickenbacker 325c64!!!

  • can u show how to play this boy but can u show it slow

  • Nicely done.

  • how much did that c58 cost you, i love that guitar so much!!

  • Right on and well done!

  • Rickenbacker 325v59 FTW !!!!!!

  • With which guitar was it original recorded?????

  • @wischkaun The 325c64

  • Couldn't choose, myself. C58 sounds woodier, C64 sounds bitey. I like the natural finish better though. One day, one day...

  • C58's are better!

  • nice shea jacket, im guessing thats from Beatwear?

  • great cover

  • Beautiful pair of guitars to have! Lucky you!

  • Also. I prefer the 325c64.

  • john was amazing in coming up with chords and vocals. very distinctive, and beautiful. Just like your cover. Very nice job.

  • You are lucky to have the money to afford these two beauties...lol

I have a jetglo 325 C58. I like the hollow-bodied sound better than the semi-hollow C64. The C64 is a little too bright for my liking and made John sound obnoxiously loud and trebley on the second Ed Sullivan show from Miami. He had a much better sound for the first and third show. Also all the early recordings were with the C58 as he didn't have the C64 till Feb '64. The day he died John played the C58 on Walking on Tin Ice.

  • You sing and play very well indeed.

  • Not sure what computer you've got, but the overall sound reminds me of my iMac camera when the noise removal is turned on.

Cool guitars. I'm gonna get me a blonde one (someday). Keeping in mind that if I find a black one for cheaper, I'll just sand it down myself.

  • Nice gear, what were the settings on the c58 ?

  • INCREDIBLE INSTRUMENTS!!!!!!!! not to sound like a jerk but if you can buy the two most amazing guitars ever shouldnt you have an amazing mic? haha just kidding, keep up the great work! lets collab!

  • the sounds are great

  • Thanks to made this video!!!!great sounds, guitars and voice!!thanks, thanks and thanks!!
