Uhhh. I have a flip camera. I've only really used it once, though.

I don't really like it much. I mean, it's cool to have a camera, but I can't really figure out how to edit anything besides the beginning and end of the videos. And since I didn't put it on my computer before taking any video, I ended up having to do an update as soon as plugged it in, which, because I had so much video on it already, took FOREVER. And the program really wouldn't work without doing the update.

So yeah.

Oh, and... if anyone does know how to edit the flip videos (as in, put them in another program, such as Windows Movie Maker or something else simple), please let me know. It does let you automaticly upload a video to YouTube from the Flip program, buuuut it doesn't do me much good if they're 15 minute videos, and half of it is blobs of boring nothingness.

I hope your hand stops hurting soon Kayley! I have a flip video camera. It's pretty cool, but not wuitw as awesome as I hoped. The program it comes with makes my computer really slow so I just don't use it. Also, the sound quality is not as great as it is on my digital camera. But it's great for shooting in not-so-great lighting!! Overall, it's am amazing camera for how cheap it is.

hey kayley! youtube gave me a flip camera when i went to toronto. they are pretty useful - i carry mine in my bag since it's tiny & it can record like an hour of film! i'm not sure how good the quality ultimately is, but it's designed for youtube & stuff so it should be fine :] xo
