10x uglier you say, well its a concept car, i think it is safe to say that 99% manufacturers only take a handful of ideas from concepts(including looks) and no car maker would produce such a radical style on the line, how about them apples?

And for some reason Ford is doing significantly worse financially, requesting bailout money and their stocks going ever to a new low, while Hyundai is garnering the most profits ever before even IN a recession. Looks may be important, but it's the function that matters the most over time.

They didnt take the bailout money 1st of all, and function? Really, hyundais aren't exactly known for their reliability and you have to get people to buy your cars first for function to be shown, so if looks aren't on par, no one will buy the cars. And with all the genesis coupe v6 hype, it was drastically worse than what everyone expected, Mustang gt and 370z smoke it. And look at all of the hyundai cars, they all look so old fashion. Company's in need of a remodel badly.
