I actually checked the game script on Gamefaqs through word search, and "dark" was said about 144 times in Riku's quest.

Lord, Reverse/Rebirth was stupid. Fanboys and fangirls who say it's "deep" or that it gave Riku complex character development are full of it. All it amounts to is Darkdarknessdarknessdarknessin­darkingthedarknessofthedark. ;-_-

My personal favorite part is where Riku is talking to Diz disguised as Ansem and it goes, "Dark!" "Darker!" "Darkness!". Given that I didn't change the order and the serious looks on their faces (and that being the only "Darker" in the game), it never fails to crack me up.
