"I started with buggy drawings, then I took away reason and accountability". lol But you built it yourself, that's what counts. There's nothing more satisfying.
need stiffer front shocks and maybe you should of done 4 a-arms because that buggy is too big and too much suspension travel for just one a arm on each side.... and maybe should of made it shorter... or wider and 2 seater
Needs WAY stronger front end! When building the front suspension on these, you want the tires to make a bit of a V shape without anyone in it. That way when you add your weight to it, the front end will lvl out the way you want it too, and give you lots of spring for those bigger bumps.
I like your approach - keep it light, don't overbuild it. If you build it yourself and it breaks, you know you can fix it. Don't make a part heavy until you know it needs to be heavy.

looks pretty good, but your going to put stiffer springs on the front to raise it, right?

Great Job!!, Although you may want to consider heavier shocks in front and longer travel..just my two cents :)
mkl757 3 years ago
If you're not doing jumps, you can get away with a couple inches of travel. This kart looks like it'd break in half if they jumped it anyway.

yeah. that's what I was thinking
