Keith does skate a little bit upright, it's just his style. Most athletes do move laterally more, and "fall" into the push more.

I once did a stopwatch timing of this video, and I think these were 32-33 second laps. So we are traveling roughly 27-28mph here.

The great thing about speedskating is how relaxed you can be, and absolutely flying at the same time. Ice or inline, its so much fun.

It's hard to skate fast with a camera, it's quite hard to breathe & stay steady.

its a great video. there is a technical issue that I am curious about. keith does not seem to be falling on the outside that much, or is it not necessary?
