Currently up to this fight, my heart was pounding when i got through the ships hull, i did it my own way and it took me like 50 atempts, now this fight... Jesus, i was sniping the doll from the edges of the room those damn frogs were wrecking me, gonna finish it tonight, oh btw my play time is 2.13

Try using the Saiga shotgun with V Rings for the beauty fights. It makes it SO easy, each round does about 20% damage. The beauties will dodge, but you'll definitely finish it in less that 2 clips

i forgot when i 1st played this boss fight on an easier level i thought how the fuck do i beat her. noob mistake there guessing but i figured out shooting the dolls worked i got the orange one so i used it. then the next playthrough i figured to try no alerts and no kills on the normal difficulty setting. i hate the mantis fight though. lot easier than the raging raven fight but still.

Do you always use the stun grenades? Have you tried using the M870 custom with the v ring? Not sure which is better, but the shotgun seem like it would be easier and quicker.

My first battle with Mantis was crazy, I dint figure out how to beat her until two hours into the boss fight. The boonze dolls are awsome, afther I beat the game I used them to control Snakes villians in the game.

From experience. Meryl does actually shoot herself if you wait too long to shoot the mantis doll. Meryl's health will go down halfway if she does shoot herself. I pretty much know everything about MGS4 cause I beat it 16 times. Haha

No, because you aren't "killing" them during the beast fights. The actual "kill" is after. So you only have to use non lethal weapons on the beauty form.

just think that you are not really "killing" them, cause later, they go out. You are just destroying their armors. Kill the beast with non-lethal weapons is only useful if you wanna their statues

if you do a second playthrough of the game like i did i got the mantis doll first and the second time i got the sorrow doll, you use the mantis doll to kill the thing but if you get rid of the sorrow doll first the frogs will not shoot at you anymore because it controls dead soldiers

to make that part easy u should shoot the sorrow doll first because the sorrow doll

controls all the dead frogs and theirs allot of dead frogs that shot at u so doing this makes it a bit easy but u do it good ur way because u bearly lost life i lost alot of life doing it ur way im not saying ur bad ur good

The pump action shotgun is the best for this fight as long as you buy VRING ammo (air bullets). There's no chance of killing anyone with it.

You can't kill anyone and you can't buy knock out weapons only lethal weapons which makes it even harder

you CAN use the herb (muna) but i'm not so sure about the compress

Don't overuse it abuse the syringe can make you throw up then again there's no point to the syringe you're stress points only get high in an alert phase but since you're not allowed to trigger alert phase only thing is good for is knocking out enemy soldiers

Instead of rolling down that hall you can take out the barrel and roll in that then right before your about to puke jump out and repeat once you find some more. It prevents like 100% damage.

thats because she controls the nano-machines inside of you all you have to do is syringe urself to disable them and you should be fine :D you can also grab meryl after that and syringe her if u had it equiped by pressing triangle or u'll do something retarded and slit her throat (like i did) and then you will lose :(
