My next door neighbor use to complain about welfare because she lived high on the hog as a real estate buisness woman. Now that houses are hard to sell she is out of job and collecting government assistance. Welfare reformed has happen because its now temporary. No long term.
Instead of giving tax dollars to these people that will take advantage of the system and buy lotto tickets and booze and drugs, why not just spend it on extermination methods...it's cheaper and more cost effective. It'll reduce my stress when I see 57% of my pay is going to taxes that will soon end up in a crackheads pocket. Plus, there would be less of them too.

if welfare is abolished the crime rate will increase, because people are not just gonna lay there and die the will rob and get food get arrested and then will be paying for there incarceration and attorneys which will cost more than welfare

I feel sorry for you since you are disabled. There are disabled people who want to work for the living but they were forced to be on welfare because the enployer rather hired an able body person to do the work for them than hire someone who have a disabilty. Look at Beethoven for example, he keep on working on his musical talent right after he went deaf. Helen Keler was the same way, she graduated from college with honor and she is both blind and deaf .

Government policies are keeping people poor and unemployed. Struggling as a debt-slave on or below min wage does not imo make for the 'best people'. Foodstamps - 2kids and her - $640 a mo.
TANF- $495 a mo per kid - $990.00
part time job - 20hrs a wk 700 a mo .
WHY would she get married? Why would she work more hours or get a second job??
Without poverty, what excuse could the government conjure up to tax the working class? It would be in the gov's best interest to KEEP people on poverty as a convenient excuse. LBJ's so-called Great Society legislation only empowered the Federal Government to tax the working class more, and centralize taxing powers, but actually increased poverty numbers instead of reducing them.
My plan: Everyone on welfare must report to recruiting center for miltary duty. 2 years active duty gets 4 years benefits. Or, you are housed in an old jail. you can come and go as you like, but thats where you live. You have a 12in. TV set with bunny ears. Hot water and heat. 3 Sq meals a day. But no drug testing and you still have rights like everybody else. An individual will get 300$/mo. w/ limited heath care. med. insurance of 50000 yr total.
Yeah im sure if everyone started working today 100% unemployment we would all hold hands under a rainbow lol
