Soul Calibur is a Product Placement of Guest Stars, The "New" Marvel Guys from UMVC3 is a P.P. for the Avengers Movie, & Shinobi fought Product Placement as it's Boss.
like in Madden product placement makes perfect sense because it adds realism to the game, just like in a normal tv broadcast. Crazy Taxi as I remembered it loved Fila, Pizza Hut, and Tower Records. In Crazy Taxi it made sense because you are a cab driver in the game driving people to various locations. Also it was phun
@freeafrikanow Sega Removed them in the XBLA/PSN Released.(Should have used Virtua Pizza, Chaos Emerald Records, & Alex Kidd Chicken instead of Genericly Name Products) LOL
some pretty stupid examples, if an actual NASCAR car has 'the home depot' logo on it, then it will obviously be identical in the game. same goes for the baseball park, hockey arena, lebron's shoe, soccer jerseys and that mazda car. the first two are over the top but you can barely call this product placement, people are just trying to make it authentic. make a vid about the ACTUAL sports teams if you want to get your point across
Hi, I've got a small favour to ask, I'm conducting my master thesis research in the area of in-game ads and if you have some free time to fill a survey, it would help me a lot! The link can be found on my YouTube profile. Thanks a lot !!
Companies sponsoring games in 10 years... they where doing it 20 years ago, you're way late in that prediction. McKids by McDonalds, Cool Spot by 7 Up, Yo Noid by Domino's Pizza and Zool by Chupa Chups Sweets are some examples I can think of just off the top of my head. And they where made in the late 80's and early 90's.

The sad truth is that it is more realistic to add products.
A corrupt world = corrupt games.

The soundtrack sounds familiar, but I can't remember what it is. Is it from Avatar?
