I love music, love piano, saxophone and love singing even more. Most kids I know, especially my classmates in school, have the same passion about music as I do.
I am sure there must be kids who do not like music and forced to do it by their parent as the urban legend goes. But where are they? I don't know any of them.
well, i was somewhat forced to play piano.. i didnt really like lessons but i liked the outcome when i could play a song.. how old are you? im 13 in grade 7/8 piano..
I am glad that at least you like the outcome. Try to apply your skill to popular music (I assume you like pop). You will be thankful that your parents FORCED you to learn :) I am 12 (13 in mar/2010) and I will be doing Gr.10 exam in the coming spring session (Jan.)
holy crap! ur 13 and in grade 10 piano? are you doing the RCM grade 10 rudiments? if u are then holy shit! my brother did his when he was around 15 or 16
No, I am 12. My gr.10 exam is in jan,2010 and that will be before my 13 Bday on Mar.2010. I had done every single rudiment up to the Gr.10 level. The last one I did was History4 in August - only got 77%.
Oh crap i have to do my grade 8 exam in a couple months so I'm just picking out some songs right now. I'm 14 tho...

um well, it was supposed to be rushed(it is played at 120, and he is playing 16th notes so ya it sorta sounds rushed but it really isnt
