vielen Dank für dein tolles "Zuposten". Insbesondere diese glamore Pianistin "Choi Dayhe" ist unbedingt eine Bereicherung für die Spitzenleitstungen von Meistern/innen am Flügel!
Nicely done! A friend of mine was working on this at the same time as Chopin's g minor ballade, and swore that this one was harder.
The opening is a little fast for my taste, but then that diabolical speed does set off the slower passages very nicely... This really is one of the best recordings of this piece I've heard.
The more I watch your performance, the more I like it...and I really loved it the first time. If I keep this, I'll drive the number of 'hits' through the roof.
fantastic feeling and technical execution! a great sense of humour too, i'd say. you have to be to play Bolcom. amazing! i'd like to hear more of her!
Absolutely wonderful execution of this very challenging piece. As for the people saying that it is too fast, Bolcom says he wants this "Fast, diabolical (♩= 96 or faster)".
Hal Leonard had a complete rags for piano by William Bolcom in print a few years ago. It has an excellent collection of Bolcom's work including this and the other songs from the Garden of Eden set. Should still be able to find it I think.
Great playing...but what happened to the tap-dancing and drumming etc that is written in the score? It's not nearly as fun :(. Try adding in the extra stuff ^^ (although it IS very distracting, but really fun).

hm. i don't like it this fast but I can see how making it this fast would be an audience wower.
personally though, I think it should slow down just a bit because it started to sound too rushed

I really enjoyed this lively performance. Excellent sound quality. What a good piece to 'wow' an audience with!

hey, who told you to whistle and play at the end? ;)
geoslav 3 years ago
It's written in the music score...
PkBlender 3 years ago
it says play OR whistle..
geoslav 3 years ago
You're right, I thought Your question was about the whistle and not about the 'combination' of whistle and piano.
Apart from this I like her (and Your's) choiche.
PkBlender 3 years ago
thanks! lol. I just came up with that myself. Still have not decided if I should wear special shoes for the next performance...
